If you want to find your people, this is the place to do it.

The intimate setting of Immersive PX fostered a real feeling of community and connection amongst People leaders on the frontier of applying product management principles to our work. If you want to find your people, this is the place to do it. Plus, you'll walk away with actionable frameworks and notes you can apply the first day you're back in office.

What a powerful and recharging experience!

What a powerful and recharging experience in Amsterdam with the Immersive PX community! ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’œ These three days gave me so much more than inspiration! I walked away with concrete ideas, new frameworks, and a sharper sense of purpose in how we design People experiences. The speaker lineup was world-class, the conversations were bold and honest, and the energy in the room was contagious. I learned so much from others who are reimagining our field with courage and clarity. Already counting down to the next one! Thank you to everyone who made this so special!

Most People teams are stuck in traditional thinking. The moment I got introduced to product thinking in People, there was no way back. It makes so much sense. By now, my team is on board and my COO and CFO are also supportive, because - when explained - it makes so much sense to them too. I joined the Immersive PX event to learn the 'how', and learn from others who have already implemented this in their organizations. I was pleasantly surprised - and in awe- of the group Luke had brought together: truly the global frontrunners of this way of working. A large part of the group had flown in from other countries to attend and share their expertise. What I really enjoyed is that many did not have an HR background, they 'found' the People function along the way and have brought their expertise from different disciplines to make the People function better. The event was very inspiring and very practical. I walked away with actions to take the next day. Now, one week later, I am implementing them with my team.

I thought the PX Espresso Live event was amazing! You can tell how much thought went into the whole day. From the branding, to the swag bags, to the food, to the agenda to the speakers - the whole thing was way more than I thought it'd be, which is a great thing! If this is what the first year looks like, then you've set a high bar for your future events! I'd definitely recommend PX Espresso Live to other People Leaders because the conversation and ideas from the speakers was very forward-thinking and actually different to the traditional HR approaches that many of us are taught. This event helped to break the mould and shed light and some progressive people practices.

Reflecting back on a fabulous couple of days at Immersive PX - filled with great conversation, practical applications of product and design thinking to people, and, of course, great coffee โ˜• ๐Ÿ‘€ Two things that have really stuck with me: ๐Ÿ’ก Fall in love with the problem, not the solution ๐Ÿ’ก Seek the truth, not validation When we want to make things better, itโ€™s easy to jump straight to designing a fix - a new tool, process, or framework - without first unpacking the problem or understanding whoโ€™s feeling the friction. Immersive PX by SapienX, Year 2๏ธโƒฃ. โœ… Two days surrounded by the best people, people. Leaders who donโ€™t just talk about the future of work, they build it. This event is like Christmas for me. I feel like I am plugging my brain directly into a power socket of ideas, energy, and tools.โšก๏ธ This was my second Immersive PX, and it hit differently. Iโ€™ve grown a lot since last year and not just in ideas, but in how I approach challenges back at work. As People Leaders, to scale our impact you donโ€™t need to add more stuff. You sharpen your infrastructure. How? You untangle your orgโ€™s spaghetti. You design for flexibility. You find ways to take the collision of AI, Emotional Intelligence, career maps, performance, tools, and structure (to name a few ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) into an architecture of constant obsession over the problem. We keep iterating until we inch closer to employee and business needs. This week I attended my third PX Immersive by SapienX. It's a space where we explore how product, engineering, marketing, and customer experience principles can help us design People Experience as a Product. I joined Marie Krebs and Katja Vincetiฤ‡ on a panel to unpack how PX and agile ways of working actually show up in HR, beyond the theory. What discussed: ๐Ÿ”ฅ The art of inspiration, but not copying and pasting. ๐Ÿ”ฅ How to fall in love with the problem space. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Understand the problems youโ€™re solving before you jump to solutions. ๐Ÿ”ฅ How to structure your People team based on your size, context, and problem-solving approach. ๐Ÿ”ฅ The importance of learning from marketing! Launching People Products ๐Ÿ”ฅ deserves more than a message and a deck. ๐Ÿ”ฅ I shared a practical recap on using the Double Diamond for performance design โ€” if you missed it you can read more here lnkd.in/eYCHiAgt People Experience isnโ€™t a set of policies, itโ€™s a system we design, test, and evolve. When we build like product teams do, we get closer to real employee needs, faster. Why I keep coming back: ๐Ÿ’œ PX Immersive is hands-on, human, and humbling. ๐Ÿ’œ The biggest learnings happen in the informal moments โ€” and in the community that now feels like family. ๐Ÿ’œ Meeting beautiful new folks from all around the world. Huge thank you to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney and Liesa Miller or curating such a powerful space, all the work behind the scene and to Alicia Grimes Adam Horne John Faulkner-Willcocks Chris Metcalfe Thomas Forstner Becki Nazareth Jessamine Ringer (PCC, Assoc CIPD) Rafael Guper for the wisdom, laughter, and support. ๐Ÿ“Œ If you havenโ€™t joined a PX Immersive yet - there are three opportunities next year! ๐Ÿ“Œ And if youโ€™re curious about getting involved in PX as a Product, Iโ€™ve shared resources to help you refresh how you think about HR.

PX Immersive 2025 | SapienX ๐Ÿ’œ Last week I had the absolute joy of spending two days surrounded by incredible leaders who donโ€™t just talk about the future of work, theyโ€™re building it, questioning it, and reshaping it in real time. As someone whoโ€™s spent years leading both revenue and people teams, Iโ€™ve seen firsthand how process and systems enable clarity, alignment, and performance. The tools matter a whole lot less than the architecture thatโ€™s underneath them. And right now, as AI floods every conversation, itโ€™s never been more important to discern whatโ€™s actually necessary versus whatโ€™s just noise. My PX Immersive experience was a reminder that People leaders sit at the intersection of everything: tech, process, and humanity. Iโ€™m very grateful to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney and the SapienX team for curating this event that felt to me as equal parts raw, real, and forward-thinking. If you want to build something great, start with community. Last week, I got to spend two days with one of the best communities there is, the PX as a product community, at the third Immersive PX in London, brilliantly designed and hosted by Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney. This is a room full of people whoโ€™ve walked the people and HR path and are now learning a whole new skillset; product thinking and human-centred design skills, so they can reimagine how people experience work. Theyโ€™re the ones experimenting, questioning, redesigning. Not waiting for change to happen, but building it. Wowweeee, if youโ€™ve got these kinds of people in your organisation, youโ€™re one very lucky sausage. And Iโ€™m so lucky, too. Because, sure, whilst I may have "speaker" on my name badge, I learn with them and so much from them, alongside the other speakers, facilitators, and experimenters exploring how we design people experiences with the same care and intention as customer ones. So this is a big thank you to the community builders and connectors who make spaces like this possible, especially to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney, and my fellow facilitators and friends Marie Krebs, ๐ŸŒดJooBee Yeow, PhD, Thomas Forstner, Katja Vincetiฤ‡, Vanessa Monsequeira - เคšเคฟเคคเฅเคฐเคฒเฅ‡เค–เคพ, Adam Horne, John Faulkner-Willcocks, Becki Nazareth, Jessamine Ringer (PCC, Assoc CIPD), Chris Metcalfe ๐Ÿซถ Youโ€™ve got 50+ PX geeks heading into this week with a serious spark of energy.

What if your People team acted less like a department, and more like a Product team? A week later and my mind is still buzzing after 2 incredible days at Immersive PX by SapienX. The central theme was a game-changer: treating People Experience (PX) as a Product. Itโ€™s a simple shift in mindset with huge implications for how we support and build for our people. My notebook is full, but here are a few key principles Iโ€™m taking back to Fuse Universal: ๐Ÿ” Facilitate to Influence: We don't just create policies; we uncover truths to drive real change. A powerful reminder from the opening panel with ๐ŸŒดJooBee Yeow, PhD & Thomas Forstner. ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ Solve the Right Problems: Luke O'Mahoney introduced us to 'User Discovery', a crucial tool for asking the right questions and understanding the real needs of our people. ๐ŸŽฒ Strategy is a Team Game: The D&D-themed session from Adam Horne & John Faulkner-Willcocks at Open Org was a brilliant way to see the different roles, barriers and drivers in building a People Roadmap. (Playing the role of Finance was fun!) ๐Ÿš€ Launch is Just the Beginning: The fireside chat with Vanessa Monsequeira - เคšเคฟเคคเฅเคฐเคฒเฅ‡เค–เคพ, Marie Krebs & Katja Vincetiฤ‡ was a masterclass in remembering that the real work starts after launch. It's about embedding behaviours and tracking outcomes. ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ 'Map the Flow Before the Fix': Insightful sessions from Chris Metcalfe & Alicia Grimes challenged us to 'map' the employee journey meticulously and 'test' our assumptions before we build. ๐Ÿค– AI as an Amplifier: A thought-provoking panel with Giovanni Luperti & Rafael Guper re-framed AI not as a replacement, but as a tool to help us achieve our outcomes more efficiently. โœ๏ธ Commitments to Action: Inspired by Fabrizia Zanca successful PX implementation journey, the 2 days wrapped up by setting our own practical commitments, ensuring all the insights turn into real-world impact with Becki Nazareth & Jessamine Ringer (PCC, Assoc CIPD). I left inspired and ready to champion the PX-as-a-Product mindset at Fuse Universal. A massive thank you Luke O'Mahoney, Nishita O'Mahoney, Liesa Miller and the entire SapienX team for putting on an event that was truly immersive and impactful. And thank you to all the wonderful new connections I made - I look forward to continuing these conversation!

A massive thank you Luke O'Mahoney, Nishita O'Mahoney, Liesa Miller and the entire SapienX team for putting on an event that was truly immersive and impactful. And thank you to all the wonderful new connections I made - I look forward to continuing these conversation!

WHAT.A.BLAST last week was at Immersive PX! โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ We got to take our Roadmapping card game for another spin!! ๐Ÿƒ Once again, eternal thanks to the ever-impressive Luke O'Mahoney & Nishita O'Mahoney who just put on the most incredible events & experiences. ๐Ÿฅ Great Food โ˜• Great Coffee โค๏ธ Great People ๐ŸŒฑ Insane amounts of knowledge, creativity, & learning. I'm so excited we got to join in once again with our fantasy-themed people roadmapping game. Building & executing roadmaps are hard...people block you at every turn, and if you don't learn the rules quickly... you'll never win.. We shared a few magical items with the PXer's to help them on their way, and then afterwards launched our latest playbook ๐ŸŽฏ ... โœจ How to build & execute a roadmap that delivers business value โœจ

Four years ago, I took the leap into the start-up world. Letโ€™s just say, itโ€™s not for the faint-hearted: ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ I meet some truly interesting characters ๐Ÿœ๏ธ The landscape changes faster than you can say โ€œpivotโ€ ๐Ÿค‘ And the cash runway? Always seems to be on a diet ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ž๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฉ๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐Ÿ˜ One thing became clear very quickly: traditional HR just wasnโ€™t going to cut it. In fact, I stopped believing in it altogether. Fast forward through a few (hundred) learning curves, and I stumbled across a profile: โ€œHead of People in recoveryโ€ (yes, Luke O'Mahoney, thatโ€™s you!). For a moment, I wondered if this person had bugged my office ๐Ÿ‘€ finally, someone who got it. Lukeโ€™s take on the People Experience (PX) mindset was a breath of fresh air. Suddenly, it all made sense. It felt like the evolution some of us had been desperately waiting for and I was hooked ๐Ÿ‘€ โžก๏ธ Cue milestone moment: I joined ๐Ÿง  Cohort 9 of ๐๐ž๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ: ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ-๐‹๐ž๐ ๐๐— & ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ง ๐๐— ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง (thereโ€™s even an e-learning version, code ๐˜ˆ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ข0 at checkout ๐Ÿ˜†).
