If you want to find your people, this is the place to do it.

The intimate setting of Immersive PX fostered a real feeling of community and connection amongst People leaders on the frontier of applying product management principles to our work. If you want to find your people, this is the place to do it. Plus, you'll walk away with actionable frameworks and notes you can apply the first day you're back in office.

What a powerful and recharging experience!

What a powerful and recharging experience in Amsterdam with the Immersive PX community! 💡💜 These three days gave me so much more than inspiration! I walked away with concrete ideas, new frameworks, and a sharper sense of purpose in how we design People experiences. The speaker lineup was world-class, the conversations were bold and honest, and the energy in the room was contagious. I learned so much from others who are reimagining our field with courage and clarity. Already counting down to the next one! Thank you to everyone who made this so special!

Most People teams are stuck in traditional thinking. The moment I got introduced to product thinking in People, there was no way back. It makes so much sense. By now, my team is on board and my COO and CFO are also supportive, because - when explained - it makes so much sense to them too. I joined the Immersive PX event to learn the 'how', and learn from others who have already implemented this in their organizations. I was pleasantly surprised - and in awe- of the group Luke had brought together: truly the global frontrunners of this way of working. A large part of the group had flown in from other countries to attend and share their expertise. What I really enjoyed is that many did not have an HR background, they 'found' the People function along the way and have brought their expertise from different disciplines to make the People function better. The event was very inspiring and very practical. I walked away with actions to take the next day. Now, one week later, I am implementing them with my team.

I thought the PX Espresso Live event was amazing! You can tell how much thought went into the whole day. From the branding, to the swag bags, to the food, to the agenda to the speakers - the whole thing was way more than I thought it'd be, which is a great thing! If this is what the first year looks like, then you've set a high bar for your future events! I'd definitely recommend PX Espresso Live to other People Leaders because the conversation and ideas from the speakers was very forward-thinking and actually different to the traditional HR approaches that many of us are taught. This event helped to break the mould and shed light and some progressive people practices.

Reflecting back on a fabulous couple of days at Immersive PX - filled with great conversation, practical applications of product and design thinking to people, and, of course, great coffee ☕ 👀 Two things that have really stuck with me: 💡 Fall in love with the problem, not the solution 💡 Seek the truth, not validation When we want to make things better, it’s easy to jump straight to designing a fix - a new tool, process, or framework - without first unpacking the problem or understanding who’s feeling the friction. Alicia Grimes's session was a great reminder to pause and ask: ⏳ What feels repetitive, slow, or unnecessarily difficult - but important to get right? 🔍 Where are there pockets of friction? And who’s feeling it the most? To aid us in this discovery, Luke O'Mahoney brought to life how The Mom Test helps us craft questions that uncover genuine insights - grounded in real experiences and challenges, not hypotheticals or polite validation. 🤔 A great reminder that curiosity is the starting point for progress...

✨ I’m back from two incredible days at the Immersive PX event and… wow. My brain is whirring (in a amazing way) 🙃 🧠 I learnt so much. 💞 I met the most talented, generous, and knowledgeable people. 🧐 The speakers? Inspiring geniuses. 📝 The tasks? Thought-provoking and practical. Now I’m back to my day job absolutely exhausted but full of ideas 💡 I’ll be spending time reflecting and asking myself: “What problem am I trying to solve?” That question will be swirling in my mind for a while (and rightly so). 🌪️ A huge thank you to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney at SapienX for creating such an insightful, stretching, and energising space 👏

Immersive PX by SapienX, Year 2️⃣. ✅ Two days surrounded by the best people, people. Leaders who don’t just talk about the future of work, they build it. This event is like Christmas for me. I feel like I am plugging my brain directly into a power socket of ideas, energy, and tools.⚡️ This was my second Immersive PX, and it hit differently. I’ve grown a lot since last year and not just in ideas, but in how I approach challenges back at work. As People Leaders, to scale our impact you don’t need to add more stuff. You sharpen your infrastructure. How? You untangle your org’s spaghetti. You design for flexibility. You find ways to take the collision of AI, Emotional Intelligence, career maps, performance, tools, and structure (to name a few 😉 ) into an architecture of constant obsession over the problem. We keep iterating until we inch closer to employee and business needs. I took away a strong reminder that People leaders sit at the intersection of everything: tech, process, and humanity, cutting across the whole org. And that’s exactly where the future of work gets built. 👊 Huge shoutout and thank you to Luke O'Mahoney Nishita O'Mahoney at SapienX for organizing an incredible event. 💜 🎉 And a massive thank you to all the facilitators that I continue to learn from 🌴JooBee Yeow, PhD Marie Krebs Chris Metcalfe Adam Horne John Faulkner-Willcocks Alicia Grimes Becki Nazareth Vanessa Monsequeira - चित्रलेखा Katja Vincetić Pictured is me fan-girling over 🌴JooBee Yeow, PhD 💜 😆

This week I attended my third PX Immersive by SapienX. It's a space where we explore how product, engineering, marketing, and customer experience principles can help us design People Experience as a Product. I joined Marie Krebs and Katja Vincetić on a panel to unpack how PX and agile ways of working actually show up in HR, beyond the theory. What discussed: 🔥 The art of inspiration, but not copying and pasting. 🔥 How to fall in love with the problem space. 🔥 Understand the problems you’re solving before you jump to solutions. 🔥 How to structure your People team based on your size, context, and problem-solving approach. 🔥 The importance of learning from marketing! Launching People Products 🔥 deserves more than a message and a deck. 🔥 I shared a practical recap on using the Double Diamond for performance design — if you missed it you can read more here lnkd.in/eYCHiAgt People Experience isn’t a set of policies, it’s a system we design, test, and evolve. When we build like product teams do, we get closer to real employee needs, faster. Why I keep coming back: 💜 PX Immersive is hands-on, human, and humbling. 💜 The biggest learnings happen in the informal moments — and in the community that now feels like family. 💜 Meeting beautiful new folks from all around the world. Huge thank you to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney and Liesa Miller or curating such a powerful space, all the work behind the scene and to Alicia Grimes Adam Horne John Faulkner-Willcocks Chris Metcalfe Thomas Forstner Becki Nazareth Jessamine Ringer (PCC, Assoc CIPD) Rafael Guper for the wisdom, laughter, and support. 📌 If you haven’t joined a PX Immersive yet - there are three opportunities next year! 📌 And if you’re curious about getting involved in PX as a Product, I’ve shared resources to help you refresh how you think about HR.

PX Immersive 2025 | SapienX 💜 Last week I had the absolute joy of spending two days surrounded by incredible leaders who don’t just talk about the future of work, they’re building it, questioning it, and reshaping it in real time. As someone who’s spent years leading both revenue and people teams, I’ve seen firsthand how process and systems enable clarity, alignment, and performance. The tools matter a whole lot less than the architecture that’s underneath them. And right now, as AI floods every conversation, it’s never been more important to discern what’s actually necessary versus what’s just noise. My PX Immersive experience was a reminder that People leaders sit at the intersection of everything: tech, process, and humanity. We’re the ones translating complexity into systems that make all of our experiences at work better. I’m very grateful to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney and the SapienX team for curating this event that felt to me as equal parts raw, real, and forward-thinking. And a highlight for me: finally meeting 🌴JooBee Yeow, PhD —a People & Organizations leader who inspires me deeply. I’m thrilled to have won a spot in her StepupMBA program this December to keep pushing my own learning and leadership forward. The PX community is an impressive group of leaders. Sharp minds, open hearts, and an unshakable belief that the future of work is human, by design. ⚡️

If you want to build something great, start with community. Last week, I got to spend two days with one of the best communities there is, the PX as a product community, at the third Immersive PX in London, brilliantly designed and hosted by Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney. This is a room full of people who’ve walked the people and HR path and are now learning a whole new skillset; product thinking and human-centred design skills, so they can reimagine how people experience work. They’re the ones experimenting, questioning, redesigning. Not waiting for change to happen, but building it. Wowweeee, if you’ve got these kinds of people in your organisation, you’re one very lucky sausage. And I’m so lucky, too. Because, sure, whilst I may have "speaker" on my name badge, I learn with them and so much from them, alongside the other speakers, facilitators, and experimenters exploring how we design people experiences with the same care and intention as customer ones. So this is a big thank you to the community builders and connectors who make spaces like this possible, especially to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney, and my fellow facilitators and friends Marie Krebs, 🌴JooBee Yeow, PhD, Thomas Forstner, Katja Vincetić, Vanessa Monsequeira - चित्रलेखा, Adam Horne, John Faulkner-Willcocks, Becki Nazareth, Jessamine Ringer (PCC, Assoc CIPD), Chris Metcalfe 🫶 You’ve got 50+ PX geeks heading into this week with a serious spark of energy.

Just coming up for air after the most hectic week last week, although one that started in the best possible way at SapienX Immersive PX at the beaut Shoreditch Treehouse! When I first joined IG and met Isar Bhattacharjee we bonded over both being on Luke O'Mahoney’s awesome Slack community, and I said I’d always wanted to go to the 2-dayer… ☕️ 6 months later it was great to be in the room with an inspiring bunch People as Product people. Particularly having taken the plunge and left start-ups for somewhere more established, it was so helpful to remind myself how many quick wins there are; how you can still use best practice methodology no matter what your size; and how we should never lose sight of our customers: our teams! You know the crowd is great when even when you’re sick, your train is screwed and your kid is off nursery you still leave feeling energised! 💡Thanks so much Luke and Nish for all the hard work.

What if your People team acted less like a department, and more like a Product team? A week later and my mind is still buzzing after 2 incredible days at Immersive PX by SapienX. The central theme was a game-changer: treating People Experience (PX) as a Product. It’s a simple shift in mindset with huge implications for how we support and build for our people. My notebook is full, but here are a few key principles I’m taking back to Fuse Universal: 🔍 Facilitate to Influence: We don't just create policies; we uncover truths to drive real change. A powerful reminder from the opening panel with 🌴JooBee Yeow, PhD & Thomas Forstner. 🕵️ Solve the Right Problems: Luke O'Mahoney introduced us to 'User Discovery', a crucial tool for asking the right questions and understanding the real needs of our people. 🎲 Strategy is a Team Game: The D&D-themed session from Adam Horne & John Faulkner-Willcocks at Open Org was a brilliant way to see the different roles, barriers and drivers in building a People Roadmap. (Playing the role of Finance was fun!) 🚀 Launch is Just the Beginning: The fireside chat with Vanessa Monsequeira - चित्रलेखा, Marie Krebs & Katja Vincetić was a masterclass in remembering that the real work starts after launch. It's about embedding behaviours and tracking outcomes. 🗺️ 'Map the Flow Before the Fix': Insightful sessions from Chris Metcalfe & Alicia Grimes challenged us to 'map' the employee journey meticulously and 'test' our assumptions before we build. 🤖 AI as an Amplifier: A thought-provoking panel with Giovanni Luperti & Rafael Guper re-framed AI not as a replacement, but as a tool to help us achieve our outcomes more efficiently. ✍️ Commitments to Action: Inspired by Fabrizia Zanca successful PX implementation journey, the 2 days wrapped up by setting our own practical commitments, ensuring all the insights turn into real-world impact with Becki Nazareth & Jessamine Ringer (PCC, Assoc CIPD). I left inspired and ready to champion the PX-as-a-Product mindset at Fuse Universal. A massive thank you Luke O'Mahoney, Nishita O'Mahoney, Liesa Miller and the entire SapienX team for putting on an event that was truly immersive and impactful. And thank you to all the wonderful new connections I made - I look forward to continuing these conversation!

Building & executing roadmaps are hard...people block you at every turn, and if you don't learn the rules quickly... you'll never win.. We shared a few magical items with the PXer's to help them on their way, and then afterwards launched our latest playbook 🎯 ... ✨ How to build & execute a roadmap that delivers business value ✨

Always seems to be on a diet 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 😏 One thing became clear very quickly: traditional HR just wasn’t going to cut it. In fact, I stopped believing in it altogether. Fast forward through a few (hundred) learning curves, and I stumbled across a profile: “Head of People in recovery” (yes, Luke O'Mahoney, that’s you!). For a moment, I wondered if this person had bugged my office 👀 finally, someone who got it. Luke’s take on the People Experience (PX) mindset was a breath of fresh air. Suddenly, it all made sense. It felt like the evolution some of us had been desperately waiting for and I was hooked 👀 ➡️ Cue milestone moment: I joined 🧠 Cohort 9 of 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭-𝐋𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐗 & 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐗 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 (there’s even an e-learning version, code 𝘈𝘥𝘪𝘭𝘢0 at checkout 😆). Here, I met some incredible humans, made friends, and found a tribe of fellow PX enthusiasts (puppy eyes and all). That was my turning point. Something clicked, and there was no going back. Since then, I’ve attended both annual PX immersive workshops and I hope that streak continues! (join the community: 🔥) 🎬𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 2️⃣ of my essay coming soon 😆 💭 Special shoutout to Humaans and Sam Sayer for the generosity, you guys are the best! 🧠 And a huge thank you to all the thought leaders who inspired us at PX Immersive 2025. People/HR can be like corporate poltergeists - moving things around behind the scenes, but you're never really sure of their impact. 👻 I stepped out of the HR function earlier in my career and stayed in the same business in a client facing role. Within 6 months, I had *no idea* what the HR team were doing (unless I caught them at the pub to catch up). They may as well not have existed. 🫥 🫥 🫥 I gained a lot of sympathy for the complaint I'd heard through my career of 'behind closed doors', or, 'no idea what HR does'. Communication became a key driver when I stepped back into leading HR and People teams, but even more important, was ensuring that the focus of the team was on the biggest impact we could have in the business. This had us deep dive into Internal Mobility at TrueLayer as the biggest way we could influence talent quality, career aspirations and engagement (and grow the business) in a combined design program. ✨ Just imagine ✨ if your HR or People function delivered and declared everything they did to a clear roadmap *justified by specific problems they're solving*, that met both what employees were voicing, and measurable growth impact. 👌 Some are close to this, but many a long way off. If this feels like a foreign concept, and you struggle to understand what this could look like, go check out the work at SapienX on People as a Product. Last week I joined them for 2 days deep diving into a conversation of how People people need to, can, and should shift into focusing on the problems of the business - and deep testing of these using Product methodologies. Luke O'Mahoney and his team have done something special in creating a conversation to shift the HR / People functional lens. As he said, they're not the first or the only ones, there are others looking at People as a Product (or PX) as this really makes sense... and the positive thing is they're not mutually exclusive but each approaching with their own take on the same theme. It is an awesome community of passionate people who have come to their roles as leaders because they believe work can be better, businesses can operate more effectively, and they're committed to prioritising impact and learning over legacy practices. A massive thank you to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney for their immense heavy lifting creating this opportunity. And to all the speakers and facilitators 👏 👏 🌴JooBee Yeow, PhD Marie Krebs Vanessa Monsequeira - चित्रलेखा for their thought leadership, Alicia Grimes Chris Metcalfe for a deep dive into Product methodology in PX, Adam Horne John Faulkner-Willcocks for their Open Org wisdom, Thomas Forstner and Katja Vincetić and all the speakers for an amazing event.

I’m full of energy and inspiration after attending Immersive PX in London last week 💪 It was incredible to be in a room full of brilliant people who think about HR differently and who see it as a space for design, not just delivery. The message that stuck with me most: we are the only function that truly sees the business horizontally, across teams, processes, and disciplines. That perspective gives us a unique opportunity to create more impact than ever before. The People Experience as a Product mindset provides a powerful framework for this. It starts with a simple question: “What’s the problem we want to solve?” It encourages us to stay close to real employee and business needs and to iterate with purpose, just like the best product teams do. The future of the People function belongs to those who question, experiment, and build instead of waiting for change to happen. Huge thanks to Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney for bringing the community to life, and to 🌴JooBee Yeow, PhD, Marie Krebs, Thomas Forstner, Alicia Grimes, and all the other inspiring speakers and facilitators for sharing your experience and challenging our thinking.

🌍I came back from London. With more questions, more certainties and... a tribe. A couple of weeks ago I returned from PX Immersive London. I went with high expectations — I said them publicly, I felt them intensely and I came back with something I didn't expect: A new, almost visceral certainty. I found my tribe. We were 40 People leaders from all over the world in a room. No infinite PowerPoints. No pitches of magic solutions. Just real conversations about real challenges. And then something different happened. People I'd never seen, but who felt familiar. Because although we came from different contexts, We shared the same obsession: create experiences that enable. Don't just manage. Thank you Luke, Nishita, JooBee, Alicia, Adam, Rafael, Marie, Chris for sharing with such clarity and conviction, and to those who shared this experience with me.

After three weeks of holidaying (and a quick detour to Amsterdam), I’m sliding back into work so Friday night post jet-lag recovery is as good time as any for a reflection. I had the pleasure of attending the Sapien-X Immersive with Luke O'Mahoney and Nishita O'Mahoney. Kindred People’s values are so aligned with a product-led, human-centred approach to people experience, so making the trip made total sense. The community Luke and the Sapien-X team have built was energising and generous. I left with a handful of little nudges: 🧠 There’s no perfect starting point so start and start again if you fall. Build rituals, have fun, and know that lots of great people are out there generously figuring it out together. ♥️ Fall in love with solving problems, not clinging to one solution. 🎯 Prioritise your work using impact-based frameworks. I loved how Alicia Grimes shared the DVF framework and who doesn't love pushing a loud buzzer! 😵‍💫 Learning (and unlearning) is tough but designing environments with humanistic leadership that embraces discomfort, will help people thrive. And... I thought I’d be the only Aussie in the room – turns out the speaker line-up featured three! Biggest bonus - I met a wonderful bunch of humans from all over the world. Also… my laptop has a starring role in the video below! 🤪

People & Culture Lead @ 7people

What made you want to attend an Immersive PX event? I wanted to learn how to manage People & Culture projects in a more modern, impactful way, not just follow the traditional HR playbook. I was looking for fresh perspectives on how to structure and deliver work that actually sticks. What specific challenges were you hoping to solve by attending? I wanted to figure out how to break down large, sometimes overwhelming projects into smaller, more manageable steps. I also wanted to get better at challenging assumptions and exploring the real problem before jumping to solutions. And I definitely walked away with new insights on how to work more agile. What is your ONE biggest takeaway from Immersive PX? Don’t build things no one needs. Always start by checking whether your idea actually solves a real problem, before you spend time developing it. How was Immersive PX different from other HR events you've attended? It really was something else. So engaging. The speakers were inspiring and full of energy, and I found myself genuinely excited throughout. Usually after 2.5 days of learning, you'd feel drained, but I left feeling the opposite: energized, inspired, and ready to try new things. What would you say to another People leader thinking about attending a future Immersive PX event? If you want to stop wasting time on solutions no one’s waiting for, and start creating experiences and initiatives that truly land this is the event for you. You’ll walk away with tools and inspiration to build things that matter.

Incredible experience last week in London at PX Espresso Live. This event brought together over 100 People leaders from different countries to take a more strategic role by applying product methodologies. I happened to be the only one from LATAM. Sometimes after events like this, the initial excitement fades when you're back at the office, and what you learned turns into pretty words that aren't really applicable. But this time, it was different—People as a Product is a practical approach to achieving scale-up. Luke O'Mahoney, huge thanks to you and your team (Hanna Green and Liesa Miller) for the organization, and to the speakers for going beyond traditional HR, delivering talks and workshops that addressed real problems. See you next year in LATAM 🚀

It’s rare to be in a space where people are genuinely open, sharing, and willing to help each other grow especially in People functions. Here are some real highlights: 📢 Conversations that matter: The panels didn’t just focus on trends, they dug into real challenges we all face. I walked away with practical advice I’m already thinking about applying. 🤝 Genuine connections: Meeting people who share the same passion for talent and growth was refreshing. These conversations weren’t just about work, they were about building something bigger together. ☕ Fuel: Yes, the coffee was great, but the real energy came from the people. Being surrounded by minds that challenge you is what I love most about these events. Can't wait for the next event in Belgium, Luke O'Mahoney 😎

Three things I love: Organisational behaviors 📊 Design 🎨 Community 🤝 Let’s put them together, and guess what? We get THE BEST event of the season! I attended the PX Espresso Live event hosted by the amazing Luke O'Mahoney last week. Being part of a progressive community keeps me inspired and on my toes every day. Events like this are crucial for learning and networking; they provide a break from the daily grind and allow us to discuss what’s on our minds with like-minded people. I always leave events like this with practical ideas and my strategic brain buzzing on the way home!

Three amazing days filled with workshops and panel discussions on how we can transform People Operations using product management practices and design thinking. This was PX Espresso Live in London. Here are the takeaways that resonated with me (with another thousand in my notes 😄): 💡 Focus on problem statements and ask the right questions to address the real issues. 💡 A strong product and a strong launch build advocacy. 💡 Company has 3 products: fiscal, customer-facing and employee experience. 💡 Achieve everything through others. 💡 Stop trying to motivate, start removing what demotivates. 💡 Ultimately, your employees and stakeholders don't care about which framework or methodology you use—as long as you're delivering value. Locally, there’s been a lot of talk around “agile HR,” however, this event offered concrete examples and insights on how to put it into action. Shoutout to Luke O'Mahoney for not only curating brilliant content but also preparing some amazing coffee! I highly recommend if you’ve ever felt the urge to challenge the status quo and ask why we do what we do in HR—and how we can make better sense of it. 🔍

That 👏 was 👏 AWESOME 👏 On Wednesday I was lucky enough to join in on the final day of PX Espresso Live. I went away with so many ideas, inspiration, curiosity, and a way to utilise my fascination (& recent diploma) in UX with what I’m passionate about – People Experience (PX). 🙌 To say I left buzzing is an understatement ☕ And it wasn’t just because of the seriously good coffee...! Afterwards, I was nattering the ear off of anyone who would listen, telling them all about "PX as a Product". Including my newfound friend, bonded over our securing of the unwanted seats by the toilet on our packed first-off-peak-out-of-London-to-Manchester train (iykyk). I met so many like-minded individuals throughout the day - it was a true pleasure. 🫶 I’m so excited to begin exploring how to utilise my learnings within our amazing People Team at evaluagent! And be a part of the post-HR generation. Thank you so much Jayne Hart for making me aware of the event and enabling the opportunity to go and be curious! And Luke O'Mahoney with the PX Espresso team and incredible panellists for creating such an invaluable event 🚀

PX Espresso Live was a blast! 🔥I'm still buzzing from learning so much from the best people people over the last few days. I will be sharing some learning about People Experience and how it's really time we all in HR start bringing more value to the companies and people we work with. as Luke said, if we want people to think differently about HR, we have to think differently in HR. but now a gratitude moment for all those who made this week unforgettable. 🩷 had a couple of fangirl moments when meeting Jessica Zwaan, Marie Krebs, JooBee Yeow, PhD or Luke O'Mahoney in person and realizing all those people who impacted me and my approach to people ops in the last few years really exist! 🦸🏻‍♀️🦸 so HUGE THANKS to: 🧠 all the wonderful speakers whom I learned so much from. 👭 the organizing team Hanna Green and Liesa Miller for creating an incredibly smooth event that had all we expected and even more. 👨‍👩‍👧 all the wonderful participants - those I knew already, those I met and especially my Czech PX gang Michaela Kolackova Anna Rejdová 𝓩𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓴𝓪 Gillarová Pavlína Kopečná Tomáš Loub. ☕️ and last but not least the one and only Luke O'Mahoney who made all this happen, brought together the best people from the PX space and is shaping the the future of HR (and also bringing great coffee to HR events). see you all next time! 👋

I was really looking forward to two days of immersive learning as I had just completed the digital course. It really helped cement some of the learnings from the course - esp as I was completely new to PX as a product, and I learn a lot better in face to face settings. This was by far the best conference I've attended in my 10+ years in HR. I loved the small group size in the first two days, as it allowed us to really get to know each other. We also got to spend 121 time with the speakers which was incredible. I would 1000% recommend PX Espresso live to other people leaders as the content is refreshing and new (not just the same old HR employment law updates!)

Building a strong community is no longer a luxury, it's essential for success, especially if you're ready to leave traditional HR behind! I had the incredible opportunity to attend the PX Espresso, a 3-day immersive experience, and to join 'the post-HR generation' in redefining what people enablement looks like. It was amazing to connect with some brilliant minds. I was blown away by the thought leaders 💭 who shared their vision for PX as a product, offering so many insights and learnings.

PX Espresso was such an incredibly inspiring day! From getting to listen to advice and thoughts from leading-experts within the PX industry, to meeting like-minded individuals with similar beliefs in what we do - I hadn't yet come across a space like it! It truly felt like the next generation of 'HR' was in that room and I left itching to go and help be a part of making these much needed changes happen. I would 100% recommend future live events by PX Espresso to other People Leaders so they too can be inspired and make a difference within our industry in an era where traditional HR practices are extremely outdated!

Luke, I'm struggling to put into words what an incredible experience the last three days were. The value I got from them seems immeasurable! It's not just the content, workshops and important principles these inspiring speakers shared with us; it's also the most welcoming and positive learning environment, the down to earth speakers who made us feel like peers, and the truly amazing attendees that were just as keen to learn, improve and deliver value as anyone else that attended. I met incredible people, made important connections, learned so much, and really had the time of my life. It is no mean feat to organise such an impeccable event that delivers so much value to everyone involved—Thank you 🙏 It's not often that a professional conference makes you feel so energised and psyched about your role, and boy am I pumped for what's coming next in the world of People! I can't wait for the next one 😉

I really love the content of your podcast and am enjoying learning all about the concept of People as a product so was excited when you announced the event. I enjoyed the panels the most - I think the best sessions were JooBee & Lauren's (would have loved more JooBee!) and Alicia/Natalie's. This is because it felt more structured in terms of focus + getting the diversity of thought from the different panelists was very interesting. The sessions brought great practical ideas for application of the concept which was incredibly useful. The line up of speakers was awesome and awe-inspiring; well done getting them all in one room! I also really liked that it was on the more intimate side of events; often conferences are ENORMOUS and so many people are there to sell their product/services and this wasn't like that. This was truly to share the passion for the people experience. There were a couple of ways it could have been even better: 1. More comfortable seating - I especially felt for the pregnant ladies being on those benches all day. 2. Less reference to the previous 2 days - I'm delighted that the smaller cohort sessions went well but as it was exclusive, it would have been more sensitive to not reference it in every session. 3. Bring a clicker for your slides so you don't have to keep getting up :) Overall - a really insightful day and I will definitely be planning to attend the next.

I wanted to attend (and quite literally had to!) because of two reasons. 1. Immersive learning/hands-on experience in a room full of incredible like-minded individuals in the People Community. I felt like the timing was so right for my new job and the direction I wanted to head in my career 2. Direct and intimate access to thought leaders and trail blazers in the community to learn from and talk to (and some that I have followed for some time that I wanted to meet!) My biggest takeaway is that PX as a product is changing the way we can do HR/People - for the good, and for the future. I'm happy to be apart of a community that is focused on delivering valuably instead of in a traditional setting and format. It gives me hope that people will think about this profession differently. PX Espresso was different to any other HR Conference because it was no bullshit. It brought together a combination of humbleness, personality, risk-taking, boldness, fun, and incredibly intelligent leaders into one room with eager learners. It gave us the ability to interact with one another and be real. I would 100% recommend PX Espresso Live to other people leaders because the experience was so unique and valuable on many levels; networking, social learning, immersive learning, introduction to px as a product which can be daunting for others when they are first starting out.

I have been following many of the speakers LinkedIn since I was based in Tokyo and thought would be really nice to go to this sort of event for networking and also to learn from all the speakers. It is my 3rd week in the UK (recently relocated from Japan to the UK) and there it is, this event! So it was a fantastic opportunity. I was hoping to specifically learn how we get buy in from them that EX is not "fluffy" thing and something we should care. My biggest take away was to not to react instantly and provide solution, instead ask many questions.

I wanted to attend to learn from thought leaders and share a space with like-minded people. The main challenge I hoped to solve was how to balance all the work we have with enhancing the PX. The visualise work and asked why helped me. My biggest takeaway - Solve the right problem - what needle am I trying to move? PX Espresso felt more like a chat, informal and and non corporate. And very practical. I would recommend because it gives a clear, understandable picture of PX, how it works and its value.

What made you want to attend PX Espresso Live? FOMO. And a great line of of speakers (particularly Jessica & Luke as I've seen all the other people speak at things before) What specific challenges were you hoping to solve by attending? Expose the team to different ways of thinking . What is your ONE biggest takeaway from PX Espresso Live? I'd say it was more of lots of little useful nuggets rather than a big take-away. SO many useful reminders and new info. How was PX Espresso Live different to HR conferences you have attended previously? I've not been to a HR conference for years as they are usually dull and irrelevant. This was neither of those things. Would you recommend future PX Espresso Live events to other People Leaders? (If yes, why?) Absolutely - I came back energised and overflowing with ideas.
