I thought the PX Espresso Live event was amazing! You can tell how much thought went into the whole day. From the branding, to the swag bags, to the food, to the agenda to the speakers - the whole thing was way more than I thought it'd be, which is a great thing! If this is what the first year looks like, then you've set a high bar for your future events! I'd definitely recommend PX Espresso Live to other People Leaders because the conversation and ideas from the speakers was very forward-thinking and actually different to the traditional HR approaches that many of us are taught. This event helped to break the mould and shed light and some progressive people practices.

I was really looking forward to two days of immersive learning as I had just completed the digital course. It really helped cement some of the learnings from the course - esp as I was completely new to PX as a product, and I learn a lot better in face to face settings. This was by far the best conference I've attended in my 10+ years in HR. I loved the small group size in the first two days, as it allowed us to really get to know each other. We also got to spend 121 time with the speakers which was incredible. I would 1000% recommend PX Espresso live to other people leaders as the content is refreshing and new (not just the same old HR employment law updates!)

PX Espresso was such an incredibly inspiring day! From getting to listen to advice and thoughts from leading-experts within the PX industry, to meeting like-minded individuals with similar beliefs in what we do - I hadn't yet come across a space like it! It truly felt like the next generation of 'HR' was in that room and I left itching to go and help be a part of making these much needed changes happen. I would 100% recommend future live events by PX Espresso to other People Leaders so they too can be inspired and make a difference within our industry in an era where traditional HR practices are extremely outdated!

I really love the content of your podcast and am enjoying learning all about the concept of People as a product so was excited when you announced the event. I enjoyed the panels the most - I think the best sessions were JooBee & Lauren's (would have loved more JooBee!) and Alicia/Natalie's. This is because it felt more structured in terms of focus + getting the diversity of thought from the different panelists was very interesting. The sessions brought great practical ideas for application of the concept which was incredibly useful. The line up of speakers was awesome and awe-inspiring; well done getting them all in one room! I also really liked that it was on the more intimate side of events; often conferences are ENORMOUS and so many people are there to sell their product/services and this wasn't like that. This was truly to share the passion for the people experience. There were a couple of ways it could have been even better: 1. More comfortable seating - I especially felt for the pregnant ladies being on those benches all day. 2. Less reference to the previous 2 days - I'm delighted that the smaller cohort sessions went well but as it was exclusive, it would have been more sensitive to not reference it in every session. 3. Bring a clicker for your slides so you don't have to keep getting up :) Overall - a really insightful day and I will definitely be planning to attend the next.

I wanted to attend (and quite literally had to!) because of two reasons. 1. Immersive learning/hands-on experience in a room full of incredible like-minded individuals in the People Community. I felt like the timing was so right for my new job and the direction I wanted to head in my career 2. Direct and intimate access to thought leaders and trail blazers in the community to learn from and talk to (and some that I have followed for some time that I wanted to meet!) My biggest takeaway is that PX as a product is changing the way we can do HR/People - for the good, and for the future. I'm happy to be apart of a community that is focused on delivering valuably instead of in a traditional setting and format. It gives me hope that people will think about this profession differently. PX Espresso was different to any other HR Conference because it was no bullshit. It brought together a combination of humbleness, personality, risk-taking, boldness, fun, and incredibly intelligent leaders into one room with eager learners. It gave us the ability to interact with one another and be real. I would 100% recommend PX Espresso Live to other people leaders because the experience was so unique and valuable on many levels; networking, social learning, immersive learning, introduction to px as a product which can be daunting for others when they are first starting out.

I have been following many of the speakers LinkedIn since I was based in Tokyo and thought would be really nice to go to this sort of event for networking and also to learn from all the speakers. It is my 3rd week in the UK (recently relocated from Japan to the UK) and there it is, this event! So it was a fantastic opportunity. I was hoping to specifically learn how we get buy in from them that EX is not "fluffy" thing and something we should care. My biggest take away was to not to react instantly and provide solution, instead ask many questions.

I wanted to attend to learn from thought leaders and share a space with like-minded people. The main challenge I hoped to solve was how to balance all the work we have with enhancing the PX. The visualise work and asked why helped me. My biggest takeaway - Solve the right problem - what needle am I trying to move? PX Espresso felt more like a chat, informal and and non corporate. And very practical. I would recommend because it gives a clear, understandable picture of PX, how it works and its value.

What made you want to attend PX Espresso Live? FOMO. And a great line of of speakers (particularly Jessica & Luke as I've seen all the other people speak at things before) What specific challenges were you hoping to solve by attending? Expose the team to different ways of thinking . What is your ONE biggest takeaway from PX Espresso Live? I'd say it was more of lots of little useful nuggets rather than a big take-away. SO many useful reminders and new info. How was PX Espresso Live different to HR conferences you have attended previously? I've not been to a HR conference for years as they are usually dull and irrelevant. This was neither of those things. Would you recommend future PX Espresso Live events to other People Leaders? (If yes, why?) Absolutely - I came back energised and overflowing with ideas.
