After the long (and painful) journey reviewing ATS’s, we (Lottie) decided to go with Screenloop. Screenloop does the ATS basics very well, but what i like most is the features it offers: 1️⃣ AI scheduling reduces loads of admin - thank you 🙏 2️⃣ The AI note taking tool massively reduces time spent on writing feedback and sharing notes - thank you x2 🙏 3️⃣ And by far my favourite is the AI video recording tool which means you can watch interviews clips back and genuinely help to coach and improve your interviewers Yes the basics of an ATS are never going to be exciting. But being able to see how well your hiring managers are interviewing, write notes up in a fraction of the time and reduce admin (so less time in the ATS) are all things that are genuinely valuable to a TA person. Oh... and it also takes care of all your background checks automatically. Literally the most boring job a TA person has to do 🫡

6 months ago (give or take) we made the decision to look for a new ATS to help us run better hiring processes at Titanbay. Bringing in a new ATS is always a big decision, it's a big chunk of work to start from scratch and to get it into a position where it genuinely works for you. After a review of several options, we decided to go with Screenloop, despite the fact they were not the most well-known name on the market and they were still fairly early in their journey of building their own ATS, I'd seen their AI Interview product and thought the team behind it were a great bunch and it seemed to be onto something and genuinely care about what they are building. The product has gone from strength to strength, they ship new features at super speed and the platform has helped us improve and streamline our hiring processes with cNPS Surveys to gather candidate feedback, customisable interviews and scorecards to automation and AI-powered transcription and it’s given us a more detailed, data-driven view of our hiring process. Over and above the tech features (which are great!), the standout for me is the customer service. Nothing ever feels like too much for Anton Boner, Saoirse Ward and the team. They listen, take feedback and before you know it, those ideas are in the product pipeline and coming to life. It's been a great first six months of this partnership and I'm looking forward to continuing the journey together!

I then clip the video with the candidate's stellar examples and share. Eventually, I plumped for Screenloop. And I am absolutely delighted with my choice. First off, it actually feels like it was built with a recruiter in mind. The AI notetaker is a wonderful bonus that gives our hiring managers real insight into the candidates they're meeting before the interview. The automations are slick, the integrations are great. But even more so than all of the above... they listen. I've suggested a few things that might make Screenloop even better, they're on the roadmap already. That allied with their lightning iteration speeds makes it such a compelling partnership. If you're looking for a new ATS, I couldn't recommend Screenloop more.

We adopted Screenloop about 18 months ago and we’ve seen some pretty drastic improvements from this. To name a few: - interviewers able to focus on the interviewee rather than write notes, better questions asked and time per interview reduced by about 20% - from the interview intelligence tool, we were able to select panel members who required more L&D in interviewing and we were then able to deliver training - the CNPS score tracker enabled us to pinpoint what was working and what wasn’t effectively helping to increase a positive candidate journey - the product team are constantly evolving and innovating and release a new product about every 3/4 months - the support you get from the whole team is second to none I could keep writing a long list for you but essentially, could not recommend them more. They’ve been integral to help develop our TA function and they’re a product that I would happily use in any and all future workplaces.

This is why the pre-brief meeting is critical to go through each interviewer's questions/target competency areas. Recruiters can check who is asking what, and ensure the most important primary areas are covered with what questions. Then using a product like Screenloop recruiters can see what questions were asked, and how the candidate responded, to validate the questions. Having some headliner questions is OK (can be shared) but its the FUQs (follow up questions) you will find candidates' edge cases.

Completely understand your point but thats why you have to bespoke your Quality of Hire to your organisation. Screenloop is a great way to do that. I would look at the following: Retention- the longer an employee works for a business the more value they contribute. Ramp Time- the full amount of time it takes for a new hire to become productive in their role. Productivity- how efficient they are in reaching their goals and to how successful they are in doing so. Culture- how the individual contributes to the business in areas outside of their core responsibilities. I then have created a formula where I add up all the totals to find an overall average score. The reason why this piece of the puzzle is paramount is to ensure consistency across all contributing factors. E.g just because someone is productive and hits their targets doesn't mean that they're a culture add and are great to work with, coachable and respond well to feedback. The end goal isn't to deem someone Quality or Non Quality it's to ensure you have the L&D strategy and resources in place to better coach and support your new employee.

I've been thinking a lot this week about interview intelligence - using data and technology to unlock the potential for better, more consistent interviews. I spent some time talking with Anton Boner from Screenloop about their product and the problems it solves (there are other products out there as well). At its simplest, interview intelligence involves an AI bot that listens to video interviews and creates a full transcript. From there, it can produce a summary with key questions and answers, as well as analyse other details like who spoke for how long and whether there was a lengthy introduction. By leveraging this data, organizations can start to identify patterns and best practices for conducting successful interviews. For example, they can determine whether a complex description of the company is necessary or if it's more appropriate to focus on the candidate's experience and skills. They can also ensure that all hiring managers are following a consistent approach to interviewing, which can help reduce bias and improve overall outcomes. Of course, implementing interview intelligence may require some buy-in from hiring managers. However, those with an open mindset are likely to see the benefits of using AI to improve their interviewing skills. By embracing technology and analyzing their approach, they can become more effective interviewers and make better hiring decisions. As we look towards the future of recruitment and hiring, it's clear that interview intelligence has the potential to be a game-changer. By using data and technology to improve the interview process, organisations can unlock new levels of consistency, fairness, and success. What do you like best about Screenloop? It's a great time saver when you interview a lot of candidates. Allows you to really focus on the candidate rather than taking notes, etc. - and the insights are helpful too. It also really helps with the coordination/handover between different interviewers as it's all there. And the best thing is that they are pushing out new updates every week so it keeps getting better and better.

I really love that Screenloop is able to transcribe our interviews - it saves a lot of time taking notes and ensures nothing is missed during the interview. I also really like the auto reference check feature, as I am currently only a one-person team and checking references can be time-consuming. It also asks the references if they are interested in working at your company, so you have potential referrals along with the reference checks.
