This incredible program opened my eyes to the vastness of the human sexuality industry and truly inspired me to carve out my own lane. I'm proud to say that the spark ignited by Bryony and Sextech School is still burning brightly. I am extremely grateful to announce that I have been awarded an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) scholarship. Because of this support, I am now enrolled in the Sexuality Educator Certification Program through the Sexual Health Alliance. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey thus far! This certification is just the first step towards becoming who I want to be in this space. I can wait to see what's to come!

The past 6 weeks I've been deep in the weeds nerding out about all things Sextech and I'm thrilled to announce I'm officially a graduate of the Sextech School Cohort 13 🎓 Guiding by the incredible Bryony Cole & Clare Carmody, this school is like no other!!! We dove into all kinds of conversations, from AI intimacy to the futuristic (but also very real) land of robosex, racialised sexism in the world of online dating, the commodification of intimacy and even had the honour of co-facilitating sessions on decolonising sextech with Alisya R. & 🤓 Avani Parekh 🤓 This was a deeply personal experience for me. Coming from a culture where conversations about sex and sexuality were taboo, and simultaneously questioning colonial perspectives on sex and pleasure, many of our thoughts on this topic felt out of place. But the nurturing and inclusive environment at STS provided us the space to speak openly, collaborate, and develop our ideas further all while building such an incredible community. I'm wildly excited for this cohort of brilliant minds and Sextech pioneers pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo, and making pleasure, for everyone, a norm. I Graduated! (Again!) It's no secret to those who know me that I am deeply interested in women's communities and life journeys. After leaving Meta, I tried to spend a lot of time learning and following my curiosities. One of the cohort-based learning and community programs I have been participating in is the incredible Sextech School headed up by Bryony Cole and Clare Carmody. I've been exploring the nexus of pleasure of peri/menopausal women in South Asia and beyond, and while I don't have a one-solution pitch, being in this program and community has helped me articulate the larger vision I'd like to build one day. Imagine a community, platform, and products that help women over 40 feel seen, validated, and catered to. Something that celebrates our right to pleasure, intimacy and vibrant health. A platform and community that knows "you're not crazy, it's just hormones." I'm so excited to learn more, and build for me and others like me who are looking for connection and answers to what the @#$@# is going on with our bodies. Pleasure for the Elders, Blessed by the Ancestors? Yes, please. I'm not going to tag anyone in the post as some of us are stealth, but shoutout to my support crew across the world and my program "buddies"; you know who you are. I appreciate you. LETS GO!

🎓✨ I graduated from Sextech School! And I can't wait to bring the knowledge I've gained to support the agencies and brands I work with, as well as to my own business. This six-week program was a wonderful opportunity to connect with a global cohort, learn from industry experts at some of my favorite companies, and explore the latest trends in sexual technology. I got my dose of inspiration learning about AI-powered intimacy assistants, the possibilities of sex in space, VR experiences, and designing inclusive products for different body types. Today I graduated from Sextech School - What a liberating way to round out 2022, and kick off 2023! 😍 'Sexuality' is defined as 'a core dimension of being human which includes: the understanding of, and relationship to, the human body; emotional attachment and love; sex; gender; gender identity; sexual orientation; sexual intimacy; pleasure and reproduction' ... In other words, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳!
