I went to study the IASSC Green Belt exam, and even though I was a Quality Assurance worker for 5 years, I was new to the methods of Six Sigma. I tried studying with some books I bought on Amazon, and they were either incomplete guides or were how to conduct statistical analysis using programs such as Excel or Minitab. There were times I was feeling frustrated and dejected and him checking in to see how I was doing gave me motivation to keep going. You have to put in the work, reading articles, taking notes, doing practice exams, reviewing your incorrect answers, repeat. I relied heavily on the SixSigmaGuide as I prepared for my Black Belt Certification from Villanova. I found the material comprehensive,. I realized early in my preparation, I could not "know" everything I needed to know to pass the examine, so I made sure I saved the appropriate pages and was able to access them during the test. I found the tests especially helpful. I knew that if I could pass them, I would be successful. However, the tests in the guide were more difficult than the Villanova, so I breathed a sigh of relief when I began the actual test. My only criticism is that it did a poor job explaining or showing how certain answers were derived. This is especially important when making calculations. Some of the answers were not obvious, even after taking the exam and seeing the explanation. However, i believe they are committed to improving the platform, so i would hope this feature gets an upgrade. I whole heartily endorse using SixSigmaStudyGuide. And yes, I did pass the exam.

This study guide was downright amazing! I don’t recommend the pace at which I had to study (based on testing dates) but in just 19 days (of sun up to sun down studying) I was able to pass using it. Take your time if you can, delve deeply into the subjects and leverage the explanations of each answer in the practice tests. You will more than likely be OVER prepared going into the actual exam (mine was CSSBB) and that’s a GREAT thing! Yes, he offers a ton of free resources but pay for it...you won’t be sorry you did.
