Use production data with preview environments.... 😎At this point, setting up stateless preview environments is easy (vercel, netlify, cloud run) but the whole database part has ALWAYS been a pain.
Yesterday ran across Snaplet which allows you to snapshot & anonymize production data, than spin up new DBs with that snapshot.
I can't wait to take a weekend to set it up ("DevOps" is reserved for weekends #startup).

So great to catch up in SF with Peter P. (@appfactory) from @_snaplet . If you need to seed your Postgres dev database with data that looks like production, take a look. It’s definitely what you need to use. Bye annoying custom seed scripts to maintain 🥱🥱.

By using @_snaplet copycat you can have deterministic fake data so each time you generate, you get the same expected value. And it can build collections of them.
