Nate's Academy is a great resource for building a strong foundation in the Spanish language. While this is great, what impressed me even more is the community and how Nate interacts with it. Nate is frequently asking the community "How can I improve things?" or "What would you like to see?" This interaction with the community led to the addition of the addition of a course to better understand spoken Spanish, improvements to the short stories and a podcast and more. Nate is truly dedicated to helping his students achieve there goal of learning Spanish

My name is Sheldon and I am working on improving my Spanish by filling in Knowledge gaps to help communicate with Spanish speakers at my job and also communicate better with my fiancé's family. I graduated with a minor in Spanish, but never felt like I fully grasped the language. In one month of using Spanish with Nate, I have already learned so much. For example, how "V" and "B" are pronounced the same or that in Mexico Tomar is used instead of Beber. I really enjoy the community aspect of this course! Thank you Nate!

I have always loved the Spanish language and just like everyone else I tried a lot of different materials and sources. I came across teacher Nate on youtube. Not only is a super humble, talented and attentive teacher, he is also very easy going and funny. Then I decided I need to stick with one program only, instead of learning a little here and there which never brings good result. I gave Spanish with Nate a try and it was a brilliant decision. I actually regretted not enrolling earlier to save me a lot of headache planning my own lessons. His lessons are clear, detailed, super organized. But the thing I like most is the community he brings to us students. We feel like we all belong in a global class by professor Nate, who shares with us, besides knowledge, a lot of other aspects like music, movies, cultures, travel advice etc. I really cannot tell you enough. If you are considering joining his platform, this is your sign. Good luck y’all with your language journey!

I found Nate through his hilarious and informative YouTube videos. Honestly, I was jealous, this gringo speaks spanish like a native. I thought I could never! I'm just not good at language learning. Nonetheless, I signed up for one of his courses. He took me from having 0 Spanish knowledge or confidence to having conversations with native speakers in about a month. I've continued to build my spanish piece by piece through his online courses. Nate has successfully navigated the language learning process himself and he has unique perspective that even native speakers don't have. He learned spanish as a second language. This perspective allows him to connect with spanish learners and explain grammar and mental models of the language that are incredibly helpful. Nate is the man!

Five stars and a thousand gracias! I live in Mexico, and if I close my eyes, I’d honestly think Nate was a local. His accent is so natural, and his grasp of Spanish is incredibly deep. Learning Spanish has felt like a rollercoaster for me some highs, lots of confusion, but mostly “what am I even doing?” moments. I tried to learn on my own for a long time but its always been hard. Finding Nate is making all the difference. His YouTube channels are like having a personal Spanish teacher available 24/7. He always over delivers. His videos are clear, fun, and easy to learn from. And then there’s the SKOOL community, which is honestly next level. It’s not just a platform, it’s a hub with everything you need to go deeper with Spanish whatever level you are. There’s a really organized classroom section with in depth video lessons, a calendar of live calls to practice speaking in real time, and a community where people genuinely show up for each other. It’s interactive, it’s motivating, and it actually feels like you're part of something. You can ask questions, share your wins, and learn from everyone else's experiences too. Being in that space makes the whole process feel more alive and a lot less lonely, which is nice because learning Spanish has always felt confusing and boring. So this is a refreshing change for me What I appreciate most about Nate is his teaching style. He makes Spanish feel less intimidating. He breaks down complex grammar and concepts in a way that’s simple and easy to follow, no matter your level. And he does it all with a friendly, conversational tone that makes learning feel natural, not like school, but like you're talking to a really smart friend! ☺️ For the first time, I feel like I’m actually learning Spanish and I’m not doing it alone. Nate’s approach has given me real momentum, and I’m grateful for that. If you’re serious about learning Spanish and want a real community to grow with, Nate’s the teacher you’ve been looking for.

I can't express how much easier it is to learn a subject when you enjoy the person helping you learn it. Learning Spanish from Nate is a no brainer in my eyes. Do yourself a favor, finally learn the language you've been wanting to, and learn it from a great guy.

Qué onda! My name is Colten. I truly can’t say enough good things about Nate. This amazing guy has helped me with everything from saying my wedding vows in Spanish to my wife 3 years ago, to helping me over the years with hurdles I came across while learning. I asked my wife to help me learn Spanish years ago, she has done an amazing job doing so. But what she couldn’t do is explain why things are said the way they are in Spanish. I would ask her “why do have to say it like that” after asking her something, and she would reply, “idk that’s just the way you say it”. And that’s where Nate comes in and really shines! He can elaborate on things I needed to understand in order for my brain to comprehend how the language works. If you’re truly dedicated to wanting to understand, learn, or even live Spanish, there’s no other person I would recommend. Because he learned Spanish later in life, he knows the struggles/ difficulties and can teach you on how to over come those obstacles! Te quiero hermano! Gracias por todo lo que haces, eres el mejor!

My name is Steve Gold and I can tell you that in choosing Nate, you are getting one of the most passionate Spanish teachers I know of. Not only does he speak great Spanish at a native level, but he is genuinely passionate about the country's culture. It's quite obvious in his teaching methods that he wants YOU to speak just as well as he does. During the process, he is so good at injecting his terrific sense of humor and his innate kindness to make the process not only growthful, but also a helluva lot of fun. I recommend him without reservation!

Hola hola! My name is Stephanie. I’ve been learning Spanish for just under 3 years. About a year into my journey, I felt pretty stuck with my progress…I sounded like Tarzan when I spoke Spanish, had limited vocabulary and felt nervous when trying to strike up conversations with Spanish speakers. I started learning Spanish with Nate about 1.5 years ago and it has really boosted my vocabulary, reading skills and conversational skills! The lessons are packed with tips, audio, flash cards and stories to keep the process fun! After learning Spanish with Nate, I felt confident enough to travel to Mexico City twice and even met Nate and his friends in person!! I was able to speak Spanish with the locals, order food, ask for directions, and just have regular conversations with the people of Mexico City! Along with the academy, Nate’s community is also a great place to ask for help, share experiences, and speak with other learners of all levels of the Spanish language! I can’t recommend him enough!! Estoy súper feliz de haberme unido!! ¡Buena suerte en tu viaje!

I am revisiting my Spanish Language skills after some 40 years because I am motivated by my Mexican daughter-in-law, Sophia. I worked in Mexico for 3 years in the mid-1980s for a company in Matamoros. I was immersed in the language every day, which allowed me to learn more than conversational Spanish. Today, after not using my Spanish for a very long time, the floodgates are re-opening with Nate's help. I like the way he can discuss context, and his enunciation is very clear. After reviewing the Basics, I am plunging into the Intermediate curriculum. The other great Nate learning takeaway is the self-paced approach and feedback methodology he uses. I highly recommend Nate to anyone looking to improve their Spanish speaking skills with flexibility!

If you are looking for the most organized yet fun approach to learning Spanish, this is it. Born out of Nate's brain is the method that analytically balances stacking each lesson to build upon the last while creating an environment where you can try out all you have learned with like-minded individuals in the community as well. I first encountered Nate's work as a personality that I really enjoyed watching on YouTube with his channel called Nate's Adventures (now Spanish with Nate). Over time, I went from casual fan to believing that I could learn the Spanish language at the level I wanted after seeing what he offered with spanishwithnate.com and his free lessons on YouTube. Taking the leap from these free lessons to the Academy was a no-brainer looking back and my only wish is that I did it sooner! Nate's receptiveness to the community and being available for personal questions through a message on Skool is priceless!

I'm Trev, a middle aged Englishman, and I learned some Spanish many years ago because I was going on holiday to Gran Canaria on my own. I intended to rent a car when I got there to go exploring the island and thought it would be useful to speak some Spanish, in case I got into difficulty. What I learned turned out to be useful and I used my Spanish on subsequent holidays to mainland Spain and Mallorca.  At the beginning of 2024 I wanted to do something to stimulate my mind, to combat any degenerative brain disorders as I age and decided to pick up my Spanish learning again, after 20+ years.  I started off with a well known language teaching app and some books, but got to the stage where I was getting things wrong in the app, but it didn't explain why what I was doing was wrong, so I started searching YouTube and stumbled across Nate's channel.  I liked his down to earth and enthusiastic approach to Spanish and his easy going style of teaching the language, plus, he'd 'got the t-shirt' by learning Spanish to the extent that he's been able to move to Mexico and live there, which impressed me greatly.  I discovered that he had a separate Spanish learning platform with a community of fellow Spanish learners and decided to investigate further. I read the reviews and they were all very positive, so I decided to subscribe, and it was one of the best things I've ever done in my pursuit of learning Spanish.  Nate's group has an active and vibrant forum, and the sense of 'community' is fantastic. Everyone is very helpful and supportive, and the best thing is that Nate is very active on there, posting answers to questions and bits of information every day. He is always ready to reply to any questions and lend a hand when required. He is clearly passionate about helping his community of members achieve their goals, in a very patient, humble and friendly way.  The teaching videos and resources are exceptional too. Nate teaches the language in a very accessible, easy to understand way and the courses are structured so that each lesson builds on the last one in a methodical way.  I feel that my Spanish knowledge, comprehension and confidence has improved noticeably in all areas since I joined Nate's community.  I'm enjoying learning by working my way through the courses and using the resources available. If you're serious about leveling up your Spanish knowledge and skills, I'd highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, at any level, from absolute beginner upwards, there's something there for everyone.  Top marks all round from me for Nate's Fluent Spanish Speaker Academy.  Buena suerte y mis mejores deseos a todos. Good luck and best wishes to all.

I wanted to learn Spanish again for the first time since high school and just started to build my own self-study plan. But I came across the videos on Nate's YouTube channel and saw that he had a Spanish course for people exactly like me. I took a leap of faith and I swear, I felt like I understood more Spanish in one week than the entire month that I had spent trying to figure out everything on my own. It felt like sitting down with my smart friend and listening to him teach me the 80/20 of what I needed to know about Spanish. This course made it easy for a busy person like myself to learn Spanish efficiently while still having fun! I would highly recommend this course—muy bien hecho!

I am a retired professor. Finding “Spanish with Nate” has been a godsend because I now have the experience and knowledge that learning a second language does not take a “miracle” like many of us single language speakers believe. In his program, Nate provides a series of well-organized, easy to understand, and fun lessons. As a former teacher myself, I appreciate the intellectual learning journey Nate puts us through (not too much information and not too little). I also admire the respect Nate has for his students that we all can learn and master Spanish.

Nate really is an excellent teacher. He speaks both English and Spanish very clearly and well. His explanations and pedagogical techniques are effective, fun, and memorable. Nate is also very personally involved with the community and with his students. He makes sure we are getting the most out of the many resources he has made available (including his own time and attention). As a teacher myself, I commend Nate's work ethic, teaching excellence, and competence at teaching Spanish language and cultures.

I found Nate on YouTube with his hilarious interactions with native Spanish speakers who didn’t realise he was a gringo. I took Spanish classes in high school, but remembered none of what I was taught. A couple years ago I decided to give Spanish another go and was trying to learn on my own. I was doing okay with it but soon realised I needed help. When looking around on the internet I discovered Nate’s YouTube and by extension Nate’s Spanish academy. In the month that I’ve been going through his course, I’ve learnt more than I did in more than 12 months working by myself. I couldn’t recommend this course more, and if you ever have questions Nate will always help out and answer them. Muchas gracias Nate!
