Working with Yufa Li (She/Her) on completely rethinking my website has been an absolute pleasure. It now combines my videos, writings, courses & contact details in one place. Oh, and it looks fantastic (I have no claim to that). If you're looking for someone to collaborate on your web projects, I highly recommend reaching out and connecting with Yufa, you won't regret it. To commemorate, I've decided to start publicising my thoughts again. Here are some new ramblings on the dimensions of choosing compute for your software.

It was incredible working with you.  Your expertise in creating intuitive, user-centered designs has been instrumental in bringing the Rise With I.C.E. vision to life online. Your work ensured that our platform is visually appealing, accessible, and engaging for my audience. Thank you, Yufa, for your creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence!

This was one of the most memorable dinner gatherings I’ve had. The conversations were thoughtful, energizing, and deeply inspiring. Three hours flew by, and we still wanted more. The post-dinner energy stayed with me for days. What stood out most was how a few of us connected in truly meaningful ways, even across controversial viewpoints. It reminded me how powerful intentional conversation can be. We need more dinners like this regularly.

Yufa’s No Small Talk Dinner was truly magical. It felt less like a dinner party and more like a modern-day sharing circle. It was one of the most nourishing and inspiring gatherings I’ve experienced in a long time. The space was filled with brilliant, accomplished, deeply interesting, and genuinely humble people. Because of how thoughtfully she designed the evening, there was no posturing, surface-level chatter, or overt networking. What began as introductions naturally unfolded into rich backstories full of humanity and held by participants who listened with curiosity, vulnerability, and a sincere desire for real connection. I left feeling nourished, inspired, and genuinely connected - like I had encountered people’s lived stories rather than just their bios. As a woman, I felt incredibly safe, supported, and at ease in the environment she created. She held space with remarkable care and presence: warm, grounded, and deeply supportive. Her event was a powerful reminder of how transformative intentional gathering can be. Yufa has a rare intuition for bringing together people from diverse backgrounds into meaningful events such as this dinner, and she has an immense talent for cultivating meaningful connection.

Yufa & No Small Talk have put together a really unique event, as an experiment in meaningful conversations. Nearly all the attendees arrived not knowing the others. Although we were inclined to jump into small-talk with these strangers, Yufa guided us toward her own format - where each person was given the space they need to introduce themself and what really matters to them, and to engage with the group. Her ability to gently mediate, and the care she put into the ambiance of the setting, really worked. Everyone felt that they connected in ways they almost never experience, and we formed real bonds! The whole thing was magical and mysterious, yet simple and cozy.

Yufa has been a pivotal part of the Databricks Open Source Software (OSS) Website Migration Project. The challenge here was significant: we needed to unify the underlying framework and architecture across our various documentation sites, all while ensuring they maintained their own separate repositories and unique brand identities. It was a complex balancing act between standardization and flexibility. Yufa brought incredible value to this process. She is exceptional at communication and collaboration, operating with a high degree of ownership as a self-starter. I was particularly impressed by her ability to proactively identify potential issues before they became problems and provide thoughtful, pragmatic input on our technical decisions. If you are looking for a partner who brings both technical clarity and a proactive mindset to the table, I highly recommend working with Yufa on your next project.

This is amazing, thanks Yufa Li (She/Her)!!! I see what you mean with the font size proportions (in fact, now I can't unsee it 🤣!). I agree there needs to be a more clear articulation of pain points and how demvatch works to solve those. I like the people/avatars images to show social proof. That easily come from our site ranking! Thanks again for the suggestions!

Yufa was very helpful in taking our website from 0 to 100. Before starting, we had a single landing page. After Yufa's help, we have fully functioning pages for all of our customer personas, and much more detail on what we offer customers. Her design knowledge helped guide us to a highly functional and sleek website. Yufa was quick to respond when we had questions and took the time to gather our feedback and requirements throughout the process.

Working with Yufa was an absolutely pleasure.
