I’ve switched to Subscribr for my entire video workflow. it’s a total powerhouse.
It manages my pipeline, research, and transcription, but the real MVPs are the scripting and thumbnail tools. I don't even go to YouTube for research anymore since I can pull AI insights or upload my own docs directly. Plus, the scripts are so spot-on and easy to 'humanize' that I barely have to touch them!

Scripting for YouTube is a lot like trying to get a review past the AppSumo review bots.

This product, however - in the last year I have owned it, has made this process not as much like this...
They are constantly improving - which is more than I can say about faaaar too many AppSumo products I have grabbed.
I took a chance on Tier 5 and will now be upgrading because of the pattern of improvements I've seen.

One of the key things I am seeing in the improvements is much more proactive instead of reactive - they are looking at what works - and what is new that works - and allowing you to script that in your own voice and style. But also, it's able to analyze your channel or videos and suggest improvements. That's huge for a lifetime offer because it represents tokens they'll have to spend - but the thing is - they're willing to do it.

The team is good folks overall and they are active in their Discord channel, responding to concerns and suggestions.

I've been easing subscriber for a few months now and it definitely helps with the organizational aspect of creating videos. One thing that I really like with it is that before it creates any kind of script, it asks you a few questions and I found that that's been most helpful for narrowing my own thought process and then the output is much much better. The team recently began the ability to humanize the script and how that sounded less like AI slop. In this feature I think was a huge win for everyone. It definitely removes some of the generic words that you typically see and YouTube videos, and you know that they have been generated by AI. Another helpful plan here is the ability to use thumbnail generations. It is not always the exact thumbnail I would use, but it gives me some ideas that I can then tailor myself in order to make it more of the style tone direction that I'm trying to go for with my videos. I have not used quite a few of the features, one of them being the planning of different ideas and I feel like that is a missing element that I should be using and another one is creating more video structures of script structures that I can use repeatedly over and over again. I think that's another area that could probably use some refinement for myself. So far would highly recommend. It's definitely been very helpful and I just need more time and use in it. For reference, I've gotten 12 video scripts so far.

Subscribr has saved me so much time with creating thumbnails, coming up with descriptions, tags, video ideas, and providing different hooks for each video I do! I even requested a feature for more convenience... It was implemented in this software within a week!!! I'm not expecting any company to implement new features every time they're recommended, but it was great having this feature made available because it made what was already incredible, better...

I'll also say this, as a business owner, things go wrong, timelines are out of your control at times, customers have unrealistic expectations, and life happens and you're still expected to produce and show up. I said all of that because not only is subscribr amazing, the customer service has been just as great!

This is not a knock on other software sold on Appsumo, but more so how great Subscribr is.
As a stand alone product, I couldn't recommend it enough. It is a vital piece of crafting YouTube and other scripts more efficiently and succinctly. They keeping adding more and more features that just make it even better. I believe when a new LLM model came out, Gil had it integrated in a couple days. FAST!

But on top of all that, they haven't forgotten about the people who bought through Appsumo. While other services release new features, they tend to sandbox the lifetime members in search of the new revenue. But Subscribr opens those up to the people who were there at the start and I couldn't be more grateful.

Honestly, I was initially worried that this might just be a custom GPT or agent hidden on a website, but I was pleasantly surprised! It produces excellent scripts. The process is well-designed and easy to follow, and the scripts are well-written. My only downside (and it's not a major one) is the credit system. Creating a 30-minute script uses up credits quickly, and when producing several scripts, I hit the limit fast. It's good that you can purchase more credits, but you have to be completely sure about your script idea before generating it. Otherwise, if you don’t use the script, you've lost those credits. The LTD is a good deal, but if you look at the Creator plan at $49, it amounts to $4.90 per script (assuming each script costs 5 credits). As I mentioned, it’s not a big issue because $4.90 for a ready-to-use script is still a bargain—even if generating a 4,000-word script shouldn’t be that expensive. Do you have any suggestions for saving credits?

Update: After watching the announcement of Gil’s new collaborator and hearing what’s coming... the new way to edit scripts after generation, etc.. this will fix every “worries” I had. Subscribr is, and will be, gold!

This is a very good product. From how the product is designed—the themes, the options, the features. Subscriber AI has been more than just writing simple scripts to post videos; it has introduced many more capabilities, such as thumbnails. I hope they get to deploy one thing: spotting whatever is trending on multiple social‑media platforms and suggesting videos that the content creator can watch and write about.

I also hope they have improved deep search by adding an option to go really deep, especially for trending topics like storytelling about a specific news item. This would include:

- Getting the details and all the points into the script, with guidance on where to find them.
- Providing suggestions on images to add to the script.
- Eventually creating completely faceless videos, with a voice‑over in the background and snapshot overlays that explain the specific content.

Honestly didn't expect much when I picked this up, but Subscribr genuinely surprised me. Gil built an amazing platform for YouTube creators, and it's now on steroids after Bryan came on board as Co-founder.

I wanted to start a Faceless YouTube Channel to drive traffic to my App but had no idea where to start or how to create content that had value and reflected my service.

When Subscribr came to AppSumo I bought it and used it for a couple of scripts but then other stuff came up and I didn't get back to it. Just a basic features, just like a free tools but expensive price. Not worth and waste time

I bought this to speed up script writing after seeing it promoted by a scriptwriter I respect and learning a lot from Bryan.

I expected Bryan’s actual scriptwriting process and frameworks baked into the product. Instead, what I got was mostly an AI wrapper with a fancy-looking workflow that sounds good on paper but doesn’t meaningfully improve an existing YouTube process.

If you’re new to YouTube and don’t have any workflow yet, this might help you get started.

But if you already have your own prompts and systems, this tool feels bloated. I got better results sticking to my own workflows directly in ChatGPT.

I personally didn’t find enough value to keep using it.

Even though I haven't tested all the tools yet, everything I've seen so far is excellent! I upgraded from Tier 2 to 3 without hesitation.

This is such a well designed tool, and I particularly love the workflow of the Builder V2 script generator. It is so beautifully thought out, so logical, and so incredibly powerful. Yes, you could just use Chat GPT to throw out a video script, but trust me, it just isn't the same. This beauty is bringing together structure, research, writing, and even a rewrite to get rid of things like repetition and waffle. The end result isn't just good, it is superb. But it doesn't end there. There are also lots of additional research features to help with topic ideas, and so much more. Credit to the people who have put Subscribr together, this is one superbly structured tool that really delivers on its objectives.

I use Subscrbr for storytelling. I was hunting for an app or service that could give me the benefits of using AI while creating stories. I also run a podcast; the script (story) is almost everything. Occasionally I had to spend a week or more for creating a new story. That led me to inconsistencies in my project. I found tools like Novelcrafter, SudoWrite and others sold here in Appsumo. Nothing worked with the speed I required, or with the accuracy expected.

I found Subscbr, and gave it a try. At the beginning, the stories were, as usual for AI, synthetic, with a lack of interesting twists. But the tool has been receiving several improvements, and now it really helps me to develop a plot just from spare ideas, making corrections and additions on the go, or even creating an entirely new story and having more than one version available to choose from. What a amazing for a podcaster that requires fresh news stories for Yesterday.

As a final note, there's a section of tools for checking your competitors that currently look simple, but effective. I can sniff out what other channels are near my niche. I feel (without much experience working with that) that the tool needs to get deeper, providing more data not only from the won niche. I hope some improvements could be developed for spying on competitors in the future.

As is often the case, the program sat unused for a while, since I had my own prompts and workflows for creating video scripts. Thanks to Gil's regular emails, I finally gave it a try. Subscribr delivers results that far surpass my previous work in quality (and I'm generally quite good at writing/developing prompts). Even with specialized topics (I tried it with a very technical subject), Subscribr generates high-quality video scripts that fully capture the subject and present it in an easily understandable way. After setting up my account, I found it difficult to figure out how to get started. I have worked to create two scripts. The process is not intuitive, and editing when you're up to the draft stage is difficult to say the least. And the quality of the system following your prompt details is dubious. I asked it write a script for book recommendations for books that would be releasing in June 2025. Of the first 3 that it included, only one had a release date in June of 2025. The others were releasing in July and November of 2025. At the moment, I'm not sure that this will offer any utility to me in my script writing process.

I think I've written one review, can't remember, but it was probably for something I didn't like. I don't even know what to say about this tool. When I first heard about Chat GPT a few years ago I had high hopes, hopes that it could do what this tool does. Chat GPT and others are great at "general knowledge", which most of the time is generic and boring and tiresome and you just want a better tool. Well, if you like to write, or you hate to write, or you need to write, then you will really kick yourself later if you don't pick this up now. Subscribr is the real deal, go look at the company website and scroll to the bottom and look for example scripts, take a look at the three examples. I opened up my present last night and have been playing for many hours now. I have never met a tool that can do anything like this. I gave it some very complicated research projects to work on and voila, after following the videos on YT for tutorials, it produced a GREAT ESSAY! This kind of essay back in the day, in school, would have taken a very, very long time, not even sure how I made it through school the old way. I know I will be able to use this for so many kinds of YT scripts but it isn't limited to that, it is a research machine and can write great essays, it can write marketing, it can write probably anything. Anyway, I bought a high tier and am so glad I did. This is like a carpenter being given a special hammer that can outwork the competition in every way. You will kick yourself if you don't buy it because as far as I can tell, Subscribr doesn't have any real competition in this niche...... If I could give it a hundred tacos I would! Have a good day!

I really believe that this, along with the speed at which the developer is working, is going to be excellent.

My biggest issue has been with the voice. I've tried multiple times to change and add characteristics of a fun, competitor-like voice with analogies, but every version I generate ends up sounding like a stat-driven slog. Granted, I did include 10 articles for research, but still, it sounds too robotic regardless of the voice changes I make. I think there might be something conflicting with the voice—perhaps if you add too much research, it cancels out the voice because of the sheer amount of data it has to process.

There are also several minor bugs that, although manageable, are annoying. When generating hooks or sections, it often shows me a blank page, and I have to refresh the page for the content to appear. The script draft with outline generation freezes about half the time, but it reappears upon refreshing, so you don't actually lose your data. The .doc export feature doesn't work for me, rendering the document unopenable, so I have to use the "copy text" button instead. The "download research" button only provides a few low-value summary bullet points; I have six hours worth of research and get just a one-page summary. I'm not sure if this is the intended output.

There's no way to copy your research or links out or duplicate them for another script or another run. Lastly, the credits are a bit pricey in my opinion. I've had to rerun my script five times with voice edits to try and achieve a good 20-minute script. On the lower plans, you'd already be out of credits.

So far, it hasn't been able to beat my custom GPT, which I spent a month perfecting for my scripts, but I think it's close and has an amazing GUI. For 99% of people, this will likely produce a better script than they could create on their own, which in itself makes it a worthwhile purchase.

i suggest to let user choose the language of the voice for any channel (ex: english) and change it to any preferred languge like arabic, so later i can generate script with arabic but with the style of the source-channel (english).

I don't leave many reviews but I feel it's necessary because I really think you will regret not picking this one up if you miss this deal.

I have not put this through all of the things the software can do but I plan to use this a lot. The research options alone are amazing and Gil is making so many great upgrades to this software. It really will be an all in one software.

Hola voy a escribir en Español por que no se Ingles, y aunque pudiera pasar mi texto por un traductor no lo hago para demostrar que Subscribr me funciona de maravilla en español, es decir no esta encajonado o encerrado al Ingles.
Pues resulta que fui siguiendo el paso a paso de como se usa Subscribr, cuando lei que le das el link de un canal y te puede replicar el tono y la forma en la que estan los videos de ese canal no me lo crei, pues bien sigo a una profesional de la contabilidad en México que crea mucho contenido en IG y en Youtube le di todos los datos que me pidio Subscribr para que se basara e inspirara en esa creadora de contenido para crear un video de su nicho y presentarle el scrip para crear una propuesta de colaboración, la respuesta que obtuve de la profesional contable fue: wooo parece que yo misma hubiera escrito el guion, como es esto posible. y bueno de ahí se ha creado una mini idea de negocio por mi parte.

Ahora bien respondiendo al titulo de mi review:
en el tercer uso que hice de Subscribr al final se perdio todo el trabajo, una tarde entera que me sente para hacerlo bien ya que seria la prueba del algodon para saber si realmente Subscribr vala la pena, y va y se me cae y perdí todo, por cierto todo es todo, sentí una verdadera frustacion, enojo , enfado y quizas a Gil le destrui los oidos de todos los pensamientos que tuve por esa gran perdida.
Acto seguido contacte a Gil para decirle que había perdido todo y su respuesta por email fue.

I'm a big fan of Subscribr and the team behind it. The product is great for generating scripts that use actual research you provide (your notes, ideas, content, etc). It's a great way to kickstart the creative process. If you're on the fence, I would suggest giving Subscribr a try and see if it helps you with making your content faster and better.
