Keeping my hot tub balanced clean and clear has always been a struggle. Part of it was lack of understanding of all the things that needed to be done to ensure a pristine hot tub. Matt's Hot Tub Handbook and video course was a huge eye opener. Great starting point and looking forward to using my Swim University hot tub care kit to improve even more.

I have never owned a hot tub but I bought a house with an older one; so, I needed to shock, clean it, and then dial in the water chemistry to be able to use it. Swim University is a great way to see the book with details, techniques, and product suggestions for their and Amazon products too. Plus, Matt's many videos are concise and are interesting even funny but very valuable too.

Our biggest struggle with our hot tub was keeping the water clear and balanced. It would get cloudy and slimy very quickly after emptying, cleaning and refilling. Yes! I would definately recommend this book to my friends! Hot tub maintenance and chemistry explained in a simplistic manner Matt has responded to my emails which is awesome!! I do wish Matt had more information on storage of chemicals. What items can / can not be stored next to each other. Example: chlorine is dangerous to store next to an acid, (if I recall correctly from High school Chemistry)
