I was motivated to join the 5 in 30 program, thanks to the unequivocal alignment of Leo, Mike and Andrew and the conviction that Dogme and Task-Based teaching both bring about the best results in your students, and consequently, the best results for the teacher too. I knew that they were the real deal.
Since starting the 5 in 30 program, Andrew helped me to put together an offer, and really niche down so that I could build a business with a consistent offer, and one that brought about incremental improvements. Since completing the program just over a year ago, I've now reached 50 students, and am focussing on increasing the sizes of my online classes, but still following the same/similar offer which I offer to all of my students. Not only this, but my students themselves all have similar needs. Similar needs means that I'm more able to pre-empt the areas in which I'm able to help them achieve their goals.
The course 5 in 30 course was clear, you could go at your own pace, and it pushed me to reflect on what made me special as a practitioner. Arguably, taking the course has been more useful than taking the Delta, due to the practical nature of the course and helping me to take into account my local audience more, as opposed to the more broader nature of the Delta!
I'm now on the next stage of my journey - aiming to arrive at 100 students!
I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to find an identity and a voice in private ELT teaching!

I highly recommend any teacher to embark on 5in30, whether they want to start their teaching business or, as in my case, change direction. I discovered LearnyourEnglish relatively recently and I’ve been following with great interest the work that Leo, Mike and Andrew do. What sets them apart is that they are innovative, extremely precise, highly professional, reliable and very friendly. They are constantly looking to make teachers’ lives easier by finding solutions that will help them plan less, have more impact, earn more money and have a better work-life balance. 5in30 is impeccably designed and easy to follow. It consists of 4 modules. There are videos, downloadable material and useful resources. I really liked the opportunity of receiving feedback. In my case, I received feedback from Andrew. I think what sets you apart is the fact that you not only work with the business aspect of teaching but also the academic aspect. That was the defining factor for me. No other (previous) challenge (with other people) has helped me accomplish this: I now have a niche of my own - and I have a course outline for a short course (four steps / four weeks). I highly recommend the TAP to any teacher, who wants to create or upscale their own business. My colleague and I were able to move past the creative phase and needed guidance, and a little push to approach and develop our business more holistically - which is exactly what the TAP is all about for us. The program's coaches, Andrew Leo and Mike, practice what they preach, providing an excellent model for how we should approach our future students. One of the things I particularly appreciate about the program is the mix of practical information, such as how to set up a webpage, and theoretical ideas about teacherpreneur mindset, which are equally, if not more important. I joined TAP because I wanted to create an asynchronous course to engage more students and get away from 1-1 teaching. I can't achieve this goal yet but for sure TAP has helped me in many other ways: I became a less stressed teacher learning how to develop a materials-light approach, and I have introduced new tools into my teaching methodologies such as the Dogme method and Task-based teaching, I learned marketing essentials and strategies that I didn't know before, I started a newsletter and now I have a mailing list. But the best thing about TAP is the opportunity to interact directly with Mike, Leo, and Andrew: each of them is specialized in a different area, and they provide endless inputs and give very useful advice during the Q&A calls. This is the biggest value. All 3 together are a bomb! Of course, they won't work miracles. You have to put your own into it ;)

I took their online course and I learned a lot. The way they teach is different then other courses. I satisfied and I recommend it. It is worth to try. I usually like traditional education but they are so organized so that there is no confusion during class.They do not teach grammar, they teach importance of conversation during learning. Their main focus is finding a meaningful topic through philosophy. After that, we have a meaningful conversation and listening opportunities.Learning has never been this much fun. No other (previous) challenge (with other people) has helped me accomplish this: I now have a niche of my own - and I have a course outline for a short course (four steps / four weeks). So yes, 5in30 has helped me move my business forward significantly. The best thing about 5in30 were the many templates or worksheets. They made the whole course very practical. I also liked that I was able to chat with Leo, Mike and Andrew. If you are thinking about joining 5in30, do not think to long (do not waste any of your precious time while trying to make up your mind). If you want to make progress fast, feel free to skip the videos that are of no interest to you and focus on the videos that have a worksheet / template at the end. In a nutshell: This is a great course, a no-brainer for any teacher who wants to start his/her own business ASAP.

I highly recommend the TAP to any teacher, who wants to create or upscale their own business. My colleague and I were able to move past the creative phase and needed guidance, and a little push to approach and develop our business more holistically - which is exactly what the TAP is all about for us. The program's coaches, Andrew Leo and Mike, practice what they preach, providing an excellent model for how we should approach our future students. One of the things I particularly appreciate about the program is the mix of practical information, such as how to set up a webpage, and theoretical ideas about teacherpreneur mindset, which are equally, if not more important. It has helped us set deadlines, be more accountable, and take organized and thought-out next steps to achieve our business goals, being also flexible and adjustable to our wants and needs at each given moment as well. Overall, I would say that TAP has been an invaluable resource, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the program and the community!

I joined TAP because I wanted to create an asynchronous course to engage more students and get away from 1-1 teaching. I can't achieve this goal yet but for sure TAP has helped me in many other ways: I became a less stressed teacher learning how to develop a materials-light approach, and I have introduced new tools into my teaching methodologies such as the Dogme method and Task-based teaching, I learned marketing essentials and strategies that I didn't know before, I started a newsletter and now I have a mailing list. But the best thing about TAP is the opportunity to interact directly with Mike, Leo, and Andrew: each of them is specialized in a different area, and they provide endless inputs and give very useful advice during the Q&A calls. This is the biggest value. All 3 together are a bomb! Of course, they won't work miracles. You have to put your own into it ;)

What motivated me to join TAP was the perspective of becoming a more resourceful teacher. A really great thing is that the program is also a community that makes the whole learning experience even more enjoyable and rewarding.

I took their online course and I learned a lot. The way they teach is different then other courses. I satisfied and I recommend it. It is worth to try. I usually like traditional education but they are so organized so that there is no confusion during class.They do not teach grammar, they teach importance of conversation during learning. Their main focus is finding a meaningful topic through philosophy. After that, we have a meaningful conversation and listening opportunities.Learning has never been this much fun. In short, it gives me hope to know that there are still people in the world that are so dedicated to their job. Thank you LYE. Hope to see you again.
