I completed my YTT in 2019 through TAYS It was the best decision I made for myself as to further my journey with yoga It has given me more confidence and to share my learnings with others. Having a connection with TAYS gives me a feeling of always having the support to further my yoga journey I would definitely recommend taking YTT through TAYS as they give the feeling of learning and support I am presently working towards my 500 hours.

TAYS teacher training was an excellent introduction to overall yoga as a philosophy, way of life and instructor training. Some of the program's strengths include the instructors who have a wide variety of knowledge across many aspects of health, such as physical therapy, meditation, a variety of yoga styles and other holistic disciplines. They are also highly skilled in anatomy and physiology, making connections to body movements, muscle action, and yoga asanas. I especially liked the instructor's knowledge about Iyengar yoga as a type of yoga for illness, injury, and recovery. I have recommended their teacher training program to individuals interested in becoming a yoga instructor.

When entering the TAYS YTT I already taught at the local YMCA and wanted more knowledge about certain heath conditions and how to modify yoga for those with restrictions. I took the 200 hrs training and the 500 hrs training with TAYS and continued taking special courses, which teachers recommend by TAYS like Barrie Risman. This gave me the confidence and skill to teach in the following years at various Yoga and Fitness Studios. I worked with children, youth, adults, pregnant women and in single sessions with people with health challenges or in difficult life transitions. I am semi- retired, but still teach yoga online. The profound teachings at TAYS brings about yoga teachers, who confidently can teach yoga in a safe, therapeutic and professional way. At TAYS I learned yoga poses, breathing techniques, alignment, modifications for safe and therapeutic requirements, sequencing with counter poses, safe class structure, imagery, communication skills, meditation and teaching from the heart with enthusiasm. TAYS offered many special trainings, like chair yoga, yoga for back care, yoga philosophy, yoga for seniors to name some. I really benefitted from the team of teachers, that worked for TAYS offering a broad variety of teaching styles, demonstrating cooperation within the teaching team and TAYS invited other teachers like Phillip Urso, Barrie Risman and Hart Lazer to name some. At TAYS the participant of the YTT is encouraged to develop the individual teaching style, that fits the unique personality. The training ensures, that teachers lead classes in a safe and professional way to participants with diverse needs, fitness levels, capabilities and life circumstances.
