Hello everyone, just wanted to throw some love here ! I'll try to make it short. I just wanted to thank you for all the work done on the bootcamp. I usually really struggle to get into training program usually but this time it was really easy and this is because of the quality of the content. I made it to the Python module and i will be slowed down a bit as i found a new job recently but will finish the bootcamp anyway. I'm a consultant working mainly on VMware Automation product and i always struggled to understand the deeper layers (that is working on kubernetes) of the product or speak with client that also had cloud native environment and that's why i chose this bootcamp. This is my first week in the job now and i have to pass some vmware automation certification. By going through the certification training i can already say i improved my knowledge a lot with this bootcamp as i'm now more comfortable in understanding the deeper layer of the product and how things work together, even troubleshooting it as i now understand the kubectl command and other stuff related to kube. So, big thanks to the team for the work done, i'm glad i found this bootcamp !

Everything is great so far. What is like the most is every concept is explained hands-on which I believe is the best approach for any learning. I found a few concepts were not covered in detail for example, why K8 auto-scaling needs an external role when other k8 component like kubelet does not. And databases is bonus but since it lacks a real-world example a little bit out of bootcamp exploration is required. Besides that entire bootcamp is a great teaching.

I loved the overall structure of the program along with doing the exercises side by side. There were several instances where I got stuck a little bit but understood the whole structure of the task at hand and if I got stuck I questioned each thing with google to understand why we wrote command and ended up understanding everything much better. I cant wait to start the Phase 3 as I want to continue building the knowledge and transforming them into amazing projects that I can put in my Resume and get my first DevOps role after the bootcamp.

As already said in the surveys before, I really like the hands-on approach of this course. Doing the stuff gives me big confidence that I really learn and not only consume some videos. The most valuable parts in my opinion are those, where things in my personal setup do not work as expected from the videos. The real work is done when I need to troubleshoot and figure out how to fix things by myself instead of just typing along with some video instructions.

My biggest win was completing the entire DevOps Bootcamp and, more importantly, gaining the confidence to build and troubleshoot real DevOps projects independently. Coming from a development background, the bootcamp helped me connect the dots between application development, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring. I especially appreciated the hands-on approach. Instead of just learning what the tools do, I was able to deploy applications, troubleshoot real issues, build CI/CD pipelines, work with Kubernetes clusters, and implement monitoring and alerting. I now feel much more prepared to build portfolio projects and pursue DevOps/Cloud engineering roles.

The course met my expectations. I appreciated the emphasis on best practices, especially avoiding hardcoded values and using environment variables instead. I also liked that the instructor explained the reasoning behind those choices rather than just showing what to type. That being said, I don't have any reservations about the course. One thing I especially enjoyed was that I had the opportunity to troubleshoot issues and figure things out without necessarily knowing what the outcome would be. That process helped me think more critically and improved my confidence in solving problems. Thank you for putting together such a practical and engaging course.

Thank you for creating such a practical and well-structured bootcamp. It has been one of the best learning experiences I've had. One suggestion would be to update some exercises and videos to the latest versions of the tools (Docker, Gradle, Nexus, etc.), so new students can follow along without version-related differences. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this bootcamp to anyone who wants to build a strong foundation in DevOps.

Hands-on, real-world skills over passive theory—every single time. 💡 Nothing makes us prouder than seeing engineers like MARIAM KONE roll up their sleeves, build production-ready projects, and master the modern DevOps landscape. From writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) to automating CI/CD pipelines and orchestrating containers on Kubernetes & AWS EKS, Mariam’s journey shows what’s possible when you focus on practical execution rather than just watching tutorials. The Cloud & DevOps space moves fast, but mastering the core ecosystem—Linux, Docker, CI/CD, IaC, and Monitoring—is what turns a tech enthusiast into a industry-ready DevOps Practitioner. Huge congratulations, Mariam! 👏🔥 Drop a "YES" in the comments if you're building real projects, or tell us what skill is currently blocking your growth! 👇 READY TO START YOUR OWN TECHWORLD WITH NANA JOURNEY? This was week 4 with TechWorld with Nana and it was one of the most energizing weeks I’ve had so far. I completed two hands-on projects that really showed me how multiple technologies come together in a real-world environment. Some of the things I worked on: 1. Deployed a Java application to a DigitalOcean virtual machine. 2. Installed and configured a Nexus Artifact Repository on a DigitalOcean VM, created a Nexus user, and successfully deployed Java, Gradle, and Maven applications to the repository. Along the way, I also learned some valuable lessons through troubleshooting: - If you’re using WSL with IntelliJ, repositories cloned through the IDE are stored on the Windows file system, so you need to reference the correct path when making configuration changes. - If a virtual machine is restarted, applications won’t automatically come back online unless you’ve configured them with systemd service. Otherwise, you’ll need to start them manually. - I learned that a 403 error while deploying artifacts isn’t necessarily a networking or build issue—it can be a permissions issue. After correcting the user permissions in Nexus, I was able to successfully deploy the artifacts. - After resolving the permissions issue, I ran into a timeout caused by Nexus itself. Restarting the Nexus service resolved the issue, and I was able to successfully deploy the artifacts. - I also learned that if a Gradle deployment is interrupted, it’s often easier to stop the process and rebuild the JAR before attempting the deployment again. Here are the links to my completed projects: 🔗 lnkd.in/euWbDvvJ 🔗 lnkd.in/ezUCFMTX One thing I enjoy about these projects is that they don’t just teach you how to follow instructions, they force you to think through systems, identify where a process is breaking down, and troubleshoot your way to a solution. That’s where I feel my background in tech , operations and process improvement really starts to complement my technical learning. It’s not the flashiest work, but every project is building the foundation I’ll need for cloud engineering and DevOps. Every expert started with the basics. Onward to learn docker “Learn something new or perish” #CloudComputing #DevOps #Linux #Java #Gradle #Maven #Nexus #DigitalOcean #ContinuousLearning #TechWorldWithNana

A huge thank you to Nana and the entire team for creating such an amazing program. This bootcamp has truly changed my life. Thanks to the knowledge and hands-on experience I gained, I now feel confident stepping into a DevOps role , and that means so much to me. I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to build real DevOps skills. I'll definitely be back for the DevSecOps Bootcamp! Thank you again for this incredible experience!

The structure made it easier to connect theory with real-world practice, and I am looking forward to having an even more engaging learning experience as I progress further.

The puzzle is finally complete! After months of deep diving into the 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗢𝗽𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 by TechWorld with Nana, I’ve officially earned the 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗢𝗽𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 badge. This badge means much more than just a certificate to me. Before this bootcamp, I was learning different DevOps tools separately without really understanding why they were needed, but this program gave me the full picture. By building everything step by step, doing things manually first and then automating them, I finally understood the reason behind each architectural decision. It showed me how different technologies work together and when to use one approach instead of another. I also learned how to find answers in official documentation, apply best practices, and always look for ways to improve the build and delivery process to create more reliable and scalable systems. A huge thank you to Nana Janashia and the whole TechWorld with Nana team for designing such a structured and valuable bootcamp. It was exactly what I needed to build a strong engineering foundation. Earning this badge is just the beginning. OMG!!! 🎉

After almost 2 years, I finally finished the bootcamp and applied for my badge!

I won't lie—this bootcamp is HARD. In fact, I got a DevOps job before I even finished it, but I always wanted to come back and complete the journey.

To anyone still grinding through the modules: stick with it. Progress is progress, even if it's slower than you'd like. Looking back, I only wish I had dedicated more time to it earlier.

Huge thanks to Nana for creating such an amazing program. Time to celebrate! 🚀🥳

I’m happy to share that I’ve completed The Ultimate IT Fundamentals Course by TechWorld with Nana! This course was an important milestone in my IT journey. It helped me strengthen my understanding of core IT concepts and become more confident in my technical foundation! Along the way, I wrote code for the first time, configured a server, and completed my first cloud deployment on AWS. These hands-on experiences made the learning process even more valuable for me. Big thanks to Nana Janashia and TechWorld with Nana team for creating such a practical and well-structured course. I’m excited to keep moving forward and now focus more deeply on Linux, Networking, and DevOps/Cloud. #IT #TechWorldWithNana #ITFundamentals #AWS #Linux #Networking #DevOps #CloudComputing

I’m pleased to share that I have successfully completed the TechWorld with Nana DevOps Bootcamp and earned the Certified DevOps Practitioner badge with a 100% validation score. What I appreciated most about this program was its structured learning path. It starts with the fundamentals and gradually builds towards real-world DevOps practices, connecting technologies such as Linux, Git, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Ansible, and Monitoring into a complete DevOps workflow. I highly recommend TechWorld with Nana to anyone looking to build strong practical DevOps skills through hands-on projects and real-world scenarios. My next focus is preparing for the AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA) certification through KodeKloud while continuing to strengthen my cloud and DevOps knowledge. Thank you to Nana Janashia and the entire TechWorld with Nana team for creating such a valuable learning experience. #DevOps #AWS #Kubernetes #Terraform #Docker #Jenkins #CloudComputing #TechWorldWithNana #KodeKloud #AWSSAA lnkd.in/eEYhTzGV

Last year I was living under a rock. I was arrogant enough to think that my DevOps skills are solid. 6 months, 16 modules and countless nights later, TechWorld with Nana's DevOps bootcamp humbled me, in a good way! 😃 I got insight and first class education, with in depth labs and real life projects, building real CI/CD pipelines, containerizing applications with Docker, orchestrating with Kubernetes, provisioning with Terraform, automating with Ansible and wiring up monitoring with Prometheus! I am more confident now than I was 6 months ago and came to the understanding that DevOps isn't just a tool, but rather how all of these tools come together into one workflow that deploys infrastructure and ships software faster and more reliably. With a heart full of joy, I want to thank Nana Janashia for this amazing learning experience, Romain Pradelle and Florian Hoecherl for supporting in house learning and development in Roland Berger! 🦾 🍻 A small glimpse of all this effort can be checked out in my GitLab repository: lnkd.in/dC_SvSV2 I'm beyond excited for the next chapter - DevSecOps 😎

AI Engineer

Before I took the "DevOps bootcamp", my focus as an AI engineer was mainly on development side of the projects. I had no idea what was going on behind my walls. Getting to production was a total mystery to me.

Now, my understanding and my perspective and even my language have changed. Now, I feel that the impression I make has changed too. Although the last position I applied for was an AI engineering role, but it was clear to me that my elaboraton on networking and how I am comfortable with CICD underlying processes changed the game for me. Without having this precious angle in my presentation, I doubt that I could land the job. Thanks Nana and your team.

Just wrapped up the DevSecOps Bootcamp from TechWorld with Nana. I took it because I've been doing security work in manufacturing for a few months now (Cortex XDR, FortiWeb, SOC monitoring) and I kept running into the same problem: I knew what needed securing but didn't really understand how the CI/CD pipelines and infra underneath were built. You can't shift left if you don't know what's on the left. The course is hands-on. You build real pipelines with Jenkins, deploy to EKS with Terraform, do server config with Ansible, manage K8s releases with Helm/Helmfile. SAST, DAST, secret scanning, container image scanning, all integrated into CI/CD. Each module builds on the last, so you end up with something that actually works end to end. If you're considering the course: Nana is a good teacher, the labs actually work, and you come out with something you can show. I'd recommend it. #DevSecOps #PlatformEngineering #Kubernetes #CloudSecurity #CICD Certified DevSecOps Practitioner was issued by TechWorld with Nana to Germán Mauricio Meier.

Just completed my DevSecOps bootcamp on TechWorld with Nana, covering a wide range of topics: • SAST • Vulnerability Scanning & Management (DefectDojo) • Dependency Scanning (SCA, CVEs) • Secure Docker Images • AWS Cloud Security & IAM • Secure CI/CD & DAST • IaC & GitOps • Kubernetes Security & EKS • ArgoCD • Open Policy Agent • Secrets Management • Service Mesh • Compliance as Code And more. And here is what I realized. We can slowly implement DevSecOps in an organization by adopting practices from companies that have successfully done it. But the real problem is this: even if you are an expert in DevSecOps, without the right culture and team readiness, none of these tools or pipelines will work effectively. You can have the best technology, but if your team is not collaborating, if engineers are not sharing responsibility, if someone says "I just focus on coding" or "I just manage infrastructure, security and CI/CD is not my job", the whole plan will fall apart. DevSecOps culture is about getting everyone, Developers, Security Engineers, and Operations teams, to work as one team toward the same goal. To make DevSecOps actually work in an organization, we need three things: 1. Transparency — everyone needs visibility into every step of the process. 2. Collaboration — all teams need to be involved early on. 3. Shared Responsibility and Ownership — everyone is responsible for fixing security issues, not just the security team. But how do we actually start making this change? How do we convince engineers to work differently? The core of this change is getting teams to work together from day one. And here is another interesting question: how do we get people interested in security when it is not part of their job description? Would love to hear your perspective. #devsecops #devops #kubernetes #security

Going through the first 3 weeks, I almost daily caught myself thinking much I’m enjoying the tutorials. How logically the topics unfold and paint the complete picture little by little like a puzzle. You can tell Nana has a deep knowledge of every aspect she is teaching. And that’s exactly what I was looking for. I was looking mentor I can look up to and learn from. I did extensive research before I enrolled in the bootcamp and I can confidently say, she one of the best, if not the best in the industry. Nobody can compete with her. And I’m so grateful I found Nana. I said this multiple times and will say this again. GOD BLESS HER!

More importantly, it reinforced how powerful DevOps becomes when culture, automation, and collaboration truly come together. One of the early things that genuinely helped me get started was TechWorld with Nana with Nana’s content and bootcamp - so it was pretty surreal to meet Nana Janashia in person and tell her that directly. It’s easy to underestimate how much the right learning resource or mentor can change someone’s trajectory. Really glad we got the chance to talk - and grateful for the journey so far. Funny how the path can evolve from “trying to get in” to attending #KubeCon and building a real career in cloud infrastructure. #DevOps #CloudEngineering #Kubernetes #PlatformEngineering

I’m officially a Certified DevSecOps Practitioner by TechWorld with Nana 🛡️🚀 ! Completing this Bootcamp was a marathon, not a sprint. It required staying consistent through a steep learning curve, but the challenge was worth it 💪. What sets this Bootcamp apart is the "Concept-First" approach. Instead of just clicking buttons in tools, I learned the why behind the security architecture before diving into the how 🧠. At the end of my journey, I submitted nearly 40 different projects involving these technologies and concepts 🔥: • Secure CI: SAST, Secret Scanning, SCA, Image Scanning, Vulnerability Management • Secure CD: DAST, SSM, GitOps • Cloud Security: IAM, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, IaC, Billing, Compliance as Code, OIDC • Kubernetes Security: RBAC, Policy as Code, Secrets Management, Service Mesh Of course, these concepts can't be applied without the right tools 🔧: • The Stack: Gitleaks, NodeJsScan, RetireJS, Trivy, DefectDojo, ZAP, AWS (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Config), ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm, Terraform, OPA Gatekeeper, External Secrets Operator, Istio, and GitLab CI. The biggest takeaway? DevSecOps isn't a checklist; it’s a commitment to securing every layer of the software development lifecycle ✅ . With this certificate, I’ve officially completed every course offered by TechWorld with Nana. Does this make me a #TWNanastronaut 👨‍🚀 ? Cybersecurity Manager

I am a Cybersecurity professional based in Mexico City with extensive experience across Application Security, Security Architecture, Cloud Security, Pentesting, Vulnerability Management, and Digital Forensics & Incident Response. I decided to enroll in the DevOps Bootcamp because I recognized that modern development and infrastructure teams are increasingly adopting DevOps practices. My goal was to better understand the development lifecycle, automation trends, and operational workflows in order to build stronger alignment with both developers and infrastructure teams. Before the course, I had solid security expertise, but limited visibility into how DevOps practices shape day-to-day engineering processes. Through this program, I gained a clearer understanding of DevOps principles, tooling, and workflows, which has allowed me to approach security with greater empathy and collaboration. This has positioned me to better support cross-functional teams and contribute to improving both security and developer experience within my organization. The structure of the program stood out for its practical, hands-on approach and clear explanations of complex concepts. It effectively bridges the gap between theory and real-world application, making it highly relevant for professionals looking to expand beyond their primary domain. As a next step, I plan to continue my learning journey by enrolling in the DevSecOps Bootcamp from TechWorld with Nana to further integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle.

I have just started on your Devops Bootcamp and am seriously impressed with it. I will definitely be enrolling in your DevSecOps bootcamp straight after. I'm definitely no Newbie to IT or DevOps and I must say Nana leaves nothing out. Just doing the Linux section of the DevOps boot camp reminded me of so many things that I'd forgotten since I first learned them as a Unix Sys Admin 20 years ago! As a seasoned IT Pro I can honestly say these bootcamps will refresh your memory and fill in the gaps if you're like me. If not this is by far the best training available. I've wasted £10k and more on stuff that was little better than a few basic Udemy courses.

Not long ago, while applying for Cloud Engineering roles, I kept noticing the same pattern. Many positions expected strong DevOps knowledge alongside cloud expertise. Instead of ignoring the gap, I decided to close it. I’m very happy to share that I’ve earned the Certified DevOps Practitioner certification from TechWorld with Nana. This experience was an incredible deep dive into the DevOps world and pushed me beyond theory into real-world engineering: ⚙️ building CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows 🐳 deploying and managing containers with Kubernetes ☁️ provisioning cloud infrastructure and services 📦 implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform 📊 applying monitoring, reliability, and production best practices More than learning tools, I gained a deeper understanding of how modern systems integrate to run reliably at scale. A heartfelt thank you to Nana Janashia for creating such a hands-on and in-depth program and for teaching not just the tools, but how they integrate in real production environments. This milestone represents more than earning a certification, it represents a stronger foundation, a broader perspective, and a continued commitment to growth. Excited to bring this skill set to a cloud engineering team. 🚀 #DevOps #CloudEngineering #Kubernetes #Terraform #AWS #CICD #InfrastructureAsCode #TechCareers

Hi everyone! My name is Dato Bedianidze from Georgia (Country) and I was working as an IT Support in my country's local bank. I've started DevOps Bootcamp by TWN because I think I can do more interesting and useful job for as myself as for companies. I think I've found the BEST opportunity to learn DevOps because everything in this bootcamp is well-done created. Modules & Projects are very interesting and you gain hands-on practice every day! If you get in the trouble - Support is always helping you. So, I think that it is the place where you can use all your skills and become solid DevOps Engineer.

I've been learning with the TechWithNana DevOps bootcamp for the past two months now, learning valuable skills in the DevOps world from the ground up. I like how they structure the learning via hands-on demos. Just recently, I've been building a multibranch pipeline in a Docker-deployed Jenkins instance on a DigitalOcean droplet. It's interesting how you can get your GitLab repo plugged in, set a webhook to trigger pipeline deployment on every commit, and get your dockerized app to run on an i.e. EC2 instance you provisioned in AWS. There are many hoops to jump through, but if you follow intently, you get to learn a lot, so thanks to Nana Janashia for building such a great course! It definitely helps us developers to understand and work in the DevOps clockworks! Here's a link for anyone interested: lnkd.in/eZiW6SEM
