After connecting with Terence via Instagram, I was blessed with the opportunity to join this program. I can wholeheartedly say that I would recommend this course for any upcoming producers that want to strengthen their skills and gain confidence in their craft. 

I've learned so much from the basics of production, how to use different plugins to change or enhance sounds, and the tricks that are used by the same producers I am inspired by. Once I learned all of these things and had my ears trained to hear these things in my favorite songs, it became easier to do in my own tracks.

I am a CMI artist, and as part of the program, we got to work with a producer. I was fortunate enough to be paired with Terence and it was interesting to hear his opinion of my work through the lense of a pop producer. Not all of my music is pop leaning, but it was cool to see the perspectives he had. I learned that with a couple of tweaks, I can get songs to the next level of production to be more marketable and flow better. Terence also has no issues being brutally honest. Although some of the criticism was harsh, it is important to hear and it has changed my approach with certain elements moving forward. I would recommend Terence, especially if you are looking to see how your music works in a pop setting.

Wow. what a great learning experience. It was a learning curve that met with progress ! im now able to make beats faster than before! i encourage anyone who likes music and want to try making beats to take this class with Terence! He explains everything in detail , and also very patience and will explain things in many different way in order for you to understand better ! Def worth the time !

I’ve had a TON of adult education, and Terence is hands down the best teacher I’ve ever had. His talent as a musician and ability to translate and distill decades of music theory, production, mixing and more into an easily palatable and understood format is unparalleled. 

Prior to joining the Platinum Producers Club, I was aimless and stagnant in my production. I felt I had fully exhausted all self taught avenues to production; I had taken music theory courses, audio fundamentals courses, learned my DAW inside and out and in the end I just had no idea how to actually make a song people (outside of a niche few) actually liked to listen to. 

Terence taught me a straightforward way to take creative ideas and turn them into solid, fleshed out songs that people actually like to hear! And furthermore, the feedback he provides in the 1 on 1 coaching support is invaluable; he has this incredible ability to listen to literally anything and not only suggest multiple objective ways it can be improved, but he can explain WHY the changes he’s suggesting will improve it so that you can learn to make better decisions yourself moving forward.

Terence reached out to me on Instagram and, after chatting, I decided a music production mentorship would be worth it. Turns out I was right. He helped me see my blindspots and quickly identified areas in my craft that needed refinement. There's so much that goes into hit-making, it can feel like throwing paint at a wall when you're trying to succeed on your own.

Before I used to feel like I had a 75% chance of making something cool, and a 50% chance (or less) of making it conventional in the ways it needed to be; "industry-standard." Now I finally feel confident when I open a session. The guess-work has been removed.

Despite how open-ended production can be, there are distinct guidelines that've proven to be crucial for popular music. Listeners have clear expectations for songs, and Terence is instinctively in tune with them. It's hard to see something abstract as right or wrong, but Terence is a master of navigating the nuance and steering students in the right direction.

There's a laundry list of things to "fix" before the aspiring producer goes pro. Aspiring ones often have a misguided sense of priority when it comes to these issues, partly because our ears lack the experience to know what we're listening for.

Terence will get to the root of the problem and help solidify the fundamentals before worrying about parallel compression or mid-side EQ. Chances are the real issue doesn't lie that far into the production process, but more likely in the arrangement and/or sound selection.

Society often teaches us to focus only on ourselves and, at a certain point in our careers or lives, to leave behind those who need help or advice. But not Terence. He has been nothing short of helpful, supportive, and caring. He genuinely wants to see you progress in all areas of music education, whether it’s as a producer, songwriter, or mixer.

He teaches you how to completely break down a track, which allows you to truly understand what to look for in music. He also encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and try new things—things I never thought of or even heard of before. This has made me stop and think about all the different styles and genres that exist.

I know I’m rambling at this point, but I just want to thank you for taking time out of your life and daily routine to push everyone in your course to their limits, helping them become the best they can be through practice and time.
