As a Client Executive in Personal Lines, the Account Manager Essentials course was the professional development course I needed at the beginning of 2026. This course was an investment I made in myself. Simple, practical strategies to shift my mindset, communication style, and strategies for client collaboration have taken me from exhausted & overwhelmed to confident, calm & aligned with clients. Jenn Walsh, thank you for showing up on my LinkedIn feed!

The Account Manager Essentials program is, well, ESSENTIAL for any member of our service team. Jenn has found the key to successfully communicating years of experience into a streamlined course that is perfect for Account Managers of any experience level. I loved this course and am excited to make it a permanent part of onboarding for new team member.

One of the biggest takeaways from this experience is the mindset that “nothing changes if nothing changes.” It is paramount that we continue to develop and learn in order to better ourselves and our clients. In order to do that, the concept of GETMO, or “Good Enough To Move On,” allows us to prioritize work that helps deliver what the client truly values. It is important to be efficient over striving for unnecessary perfection. I've learned through this program that using firm resources, even as someone newer to the role is the key to success. That's what they are there for. Whether that is another person for peer review or company trainings, success doesn’t mean doing everything alone. It’s encouraging to see companies like mine investing in this kind of training, as it shows a clear commitment to both client satisfaction and employee development.

Things I won't forget: Avoid “red-hot rapid” response mode (I have a BAD habit of this) & BLUF Advice: Utilize the project management tips! HUB making the investment: I'm very grateful! I had just started on the broker side from the carrier side, and this was EXTREMELY helpful with the process and project management!

The client hires you to be led. They want our opinions and advice. I would advise people taking the course to take notes of things applicable to them.

Very good for new Account Managers who are still struggling to grasp the full client renewal cycle and what your role is during each step. Great breakdown with great tips along the way!

The webinars, modules and overall context of the lessons have been incredibly valuable in supporting my development as an Account Manager. As I approach my one-year anniversary here, I continue to learn something new each week, and this program provided a deeper understanding of the role and its responsibilities. The series helped clarify not only what is expected of me in my role, but also the expectations and needs of our leadership, teammates and clients. My first year has been filled with learning experiences - preparing pre-renewal presentations, marketing presentations, navigating new systems, or technical challenges. While there were moments of trial and error, it has undoubtedly been a year of meaningful growth. I’m truly grateful that this company has invested in my development and provided the opportunity to participate in this training. The insights around time management, strategic planning, project management, and anticipating potential roadblocks—especially during pre renewals, OE and marketing presentations—those lessons were especially impactful. I’ve gained valuable insights through each experience. I’ve already begun applying many of the tools and lessons from the series, and I look forward to continuing to grow in my role, supporting my team, and contributing at a higher level. Thank you again for the opportunity and investment in my professional growth.
