The biggest insight I gained through coaching (with Couch!) is to trust my instincts. And to learn to appreciate someone else's POV or motivations in a given situation, especially when managing people. One HUGE thing that I feel differently about is empowering my team to do their own work while supporting them in other ways than just covering their workloads myself. I also feel like I have the tools to own my 'failures' and apply them to future situations.

My time working with Lizzie was nothing short of amazing! She coached me through a huge period of change and uncertainty in my career: negotiating a salary, ensuring my old team was set up for success, and transitioning from overseeing a small team to leading a (really) big team.
Early on in our sessions, Lizzie said to me, 'no one teaches you how to be a manager,' which really rung true for me at the time. Now, I have a very different opinion, because Lizzie DID teach me how to be a manager. Lizzie taught me how to better empower myself and my team, and I feel so much more confident taking on this next phase of my career.

From our first session working together, Elizabeth asked questions that made me feel heard and brought to the surface assumptions that I'd been previously completely unaware of and that were having a significant negative effect on my headspace. Elizabeth has worked with me compassionately but also pushed me to do more and to stop making excuses. She always goes a step deeper to identify the root cause of whatever may be preventing you from fully realizing your goals. Her coaching has made a huge difference for me and I'm so grateful to be guided by her. Even if you think you have it all figured out, you'll likely benefit from speaking with her!!
