I've enjoyed book club! It's so relaxing and beautiful to consider our own private garden projects with what we discover. I am taking some great ideas to implement in my own garden. Especially tasteful alternatives to ground cover.

I have so enjoyed this gardening book club. I was not able to acquire the first two books, but Sue's summations and highlights of plants was so good, I felt I had read them. I have the remainder of the books and have been found Sue's summation to be accurate and complete. Her pulling out plant types and giving places we could purchase seeds is an outstanding service to us readers. I have thoroughly enjoyed this book club and look forward to reading the remaining two books. Sue is to be commended for starting the club, her research, and her writing clearly, concisely and with excellent content.

Sue is providing an enjoyable, relaxing and informative survey of famous books and plantspeople. The photographs are stunning, the quotes are timely and insightful, and her own comments address both the aesthetic and practical aspects of gardening. Joyful.

Participating in Garden Moxie book club 2025 has been enjoyable and magical. As I am new to gardening, it has been wonderful way to spend time during the Michigan winter enjoying garden books and learning about garden design. Sue has inspired me to order seeds and direct sow poppies in February. Looking forward to using direct sow method of other flowers when the weather permits. Learning so much about garden design from the books Sue has selected for reading and summarized each week. You have permanently changed my life for the better. Thank you.

I am enjoying the Garden Moxie book club. The books chosen have given me some great ideas for my garden. They have also made me think about how I want to garden moving forward. It's wonderful to share your passion for gardening with others.

So glad you included Rosemary Verey in this series. The video link to her garden in winter was so heartening since my garden is under a few feet of snow. I was inspired to go brush the snow off my boxwoods!

This book club is very interesting. Sue is adding book reviews and comments weekly. The books are very inspiring and provide great info for gardeners. I enjoy the reviews and beautiful pictures.

I enjoyed reading In Your Garden by V. Sackville-West. Sue providesinformation and highlights a variety of flowers from the book including photos, soil and light requirements, botanical interests, and sources to purchase seeds. I have been inspired to purchase seeds to add to my blue and white garden this summer that I've never tried before. This book along with Sue's guidance has been highly informational, and practical for the gardener!

I enjoyed Vicky’s book. The way she journaled per month made me appreciate all the garden gives throughout the year. I will try some of the plants she reviewed. This garden club is giving me some lessons for these cold winter months. TY Sue

I'm enjoying the book club immensely! It's wonderful to discuss gardening in the winter when you can't actually get outside to do any gardening. I am certainly going to try growing some of the annuals discussed and I appreciate having links to the seed companies that sell them. For me the best part is that you already preselect the book so I know for sure that the book is really useful. Today there are so many sources of information that sometimes it takes too much time to dig up the information I need. I love the way you present the book and how sometimes you explain a word or how you feel about different passages in the book. I remember the school days when everything was more straightforward and structured. I am enjoying the book club. It has helped me gain more confidence in creating my own gardens. I enjoy reading your summary of the book as I was not able to purchase it at this time. It is now on my wish list for future garden library items.

The book club discussions have been valuable. As an older gardener it is so nice to hear new perspectives and learn about new practices. I garden in shade and is difficult to find “different” plants, but the discussions have led me to try these same plants in different layouts.
