Hi All , My name is Hein Botes , 28 year old from Johannesburg in South Africa. I have worked in sales pretty much worked in sales from the age of 20 after coming back from 2 seasons of playing cricket in the UK. After receiving a bursary at the University of Johannesburg and completing matric , that fell through after a financial disaster , we were facing at that stage. At the tender age of 25 , I decided that I want to study economics as I was made to believe that promotions and salary would match my ever growing appetite for living a " Camps bay " lifestyle. The problem is currently wanting more but kept being told " You are not ready " and " Salary increases doesn't work that way " after receiving a company wide increase of 5.6%. I am just starting out and have not ventured into the SMMA space , which I'm trying to understand under the guidance of proven South African entrepreneurs.
