It was a pleasure working with Trace as a Psychological Safety Advisor on our Respectful Workplace team at Island Health. Trace's compassion, empathy and care were evident everyday in his interactions with those reaching out to the team, both with leaders and front line staff. Trace has an ability to see the bigger picture and how psychological safety affects every aspect of our working lives; he also brings strategic thinking and creative solutions to support wellness for all. His facilitation and strong communication skills were also excellent attributes that he brought to our team. While I was sorry to see Trace leave our team, I know that his knowledge and experience will continue to support health care delivery in our province. Supporting the teams that provide front line care is important and Trace brings energy and wisdom to this work. I look forward to crossing paths with Trace in future.

A year has passed since I started working with Trace in the Transformational Presence Company Development program, and I hardly recognize myself from that first session - although Trace saw the all of me from that first day. During that time he has supported me in acknowledging my life experiences - the tough ones - as contributions to not only my expertise and my work in the world, but as integral parts of my life purpose. The choice between watching a video and/ or reading background information helps me to process the information on an intellectual level. The exercises help me process on an experiential level. I have yet to finish the course, but I can already see that this material has many layers. Something to return to often, I am sure that each time I revisit it will have something new to offer. Being in Trace’s workshop was like going on an enigmatic multi-dimensional journey, exploring intricately woven layers of unknown and unsettled spaces, that when resolved brought about a powerful sense of being and feeling ‘whole and complete’. It was unlike anything that I have been through before. Trace’s workshop is a fundamental step towards one’s understanding of the word systemic. The power of this workshop is unbelievable.
