The commission on that deal paid for half the course in under a month. 


Adopting the 12-week year methodologies was also a huge ROI for me from a planning and execution standpoint.

Similar to Ian I felt like I had to make a change after giving birth to my firstborn. 2022 I wrapped my worst year in sales, however I kept pushing and my sales leadership said they still believed in me. They said success comes down to Technology, Talent, and Territory. They believed that I was still trying to do everything I could and the technology was strong so they gave me the confidence to give everything I had in 2023. In the first couple of months of 2023, my daughter was only napping/going to bed while being held. I digested 2-3 hours of Ian's content a night to up my game. I came out of a cannon in 2023 and hit over 140% of my first half quota, renewed an at-risk renewal that was the largest in my segment, and moved them into a contract for 3 years. I sold a deal in June that previous sales leaders said I would never sell. I focused on execution and aligning to big problems that impacted business results. With the same level of execution have built a strong foundation for a successful 2024 and beyond. His training and resources taught me to think big, get to C-Level quickly, and leverage all your resources. With that in mind, I have leveraged my CEO, CRO, CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, Sales Leaders, as well as onsite with a traveling C-Level team. This year I saw my largest commission check, doubling my previous personal record commission. The biggest nugget I took out of this course is realizing and seeing first hand how much work goes into selling at an enterprise level. As a SMB AE, it fits with my role because there are massive deals that can be closed at our level as well. I was not exposed to this level of information at my company and so this training was pivotal for me as I learn by seeing and then doing. We tried Ian Koniak's framework/sequence (as taught in Pavilion's Enterprise Sales School) recently: Our team sends a personalized email first (or 2), then we can reference the email in the call. When getting through to the prospect in the call, roughly ~50% of prospects say they didn't see the email, and the other ~50% of them can recall it after us reminding them of the key points in it. (The ones that could recall it typically say they don't action it because they get 100s of cold outbound emails per day - it's worth picking up the phone most of the time!) We then proceed to recap the email (with a special emphasis on the personalized elements) and this results in a meaningful conversation over 90% of the time.

I can say without a doubt that I'm a markedly different, more confident, more efficient worker because of my time with Ian. I first met Ian at a sales coaching event where he was a keynote speaker. I think I took over 12 pages of notes during that first two hour session, and was mindblown at how clear he was at distilling down high level sales tactics, into actionable, proven and digestible steps. I moved back to the US at the start of this year, after nearly 6 years living and working abroad. This relocation was unexpected and I knew I could use the additional support of a Sales / Performance Coach to help me both mentally and physically during this transition. I've been working with Ian for individual sales coaching for the past 20 weeks.
