Hey I’m Amy & I’ve been an ICU nurse for 23 years now. I found Wholelifenurse several years ago & followed along on Instagram. I kept hearing about CYDC but at the time I thought “my work life is pretty great.” I loved my job, enjoyed my co-workers (for the most part lol,) worked 12 miles from my home, enjoyed the work I did & all that. Then enter the pandemic & my eyes were opened. Things became super stressful and even to the point of being toxic as far as coworkers & the manager. So I joined CYDC to figure out the “where do I go from here” stuff because I knew there was better for me than being miserable & feeling comfortably uncomfortable every day at that job. Boy am I so glad I joined! The information Kelsey presents is very needed to help one transition out of a toxic job or if you're wanting to move away from the bedside. She’s amazingly encouraging, like the cheerleader we all need from time to time. I felt empowered to speak up to my manager about a raise during my annual evaluation but she shot me down. Did I just stay there & be miserable? No! I resigned from there & started travel nursing & found my own dang raise, by golly!!! I never would have had the guts to do any of that if it weren’t for Kelsey & CYDC!! I tell all my nurse friends & coworkers about Wholelifenurse & her membership, CYDC. It has literally been life changing for me, my career, my bank account, you name it! I would recommend CYDC to any nurse or even to nursing students. It’ll change the way you handle & think about yourself, your career, and it will give you lots of guidance within your nursing path, no matter where you work. It’s perfect for any nurse at any stage!

I have followed WLN for a while, and it has completely shifted my perspective of nursing and the type of flexibility that we have. I took CYDC and learned some amazing information to help me branch out! I created some nursing educational resources that have provided me some extra passive income over the last 3 years. It continues to grow, and I haven’t touch it! Thankful to Kelsey and all of her guidance.

Hey y’all! I joined CYDC when it first opened, and it is amazing. Not only are there a million resources, but Kelsey is an absolute gem of a person who does the absolute most for everybody. When I was looking at moving and was overwhelmed by the job search, I messaged Kelsey and not only did she write me how to do it, but she offered a zoom call to walk me through it. She was so warm and friendly, and I felt as if I’ve known her my entire life. This membership is absolutely worth every penny and more.

CYDC has been the greatest path to career development that I never knew I needed! Kelsey has worked diligently to build a supportive nursing community network. CYDC has significantly helped to instill clarity about how to transition to a career that promotes work-life balance, how to market your unique value to future employers, and how to build self confidence. It was CYDC that led me to a new found passion in the field of Nursing Informatics, and connected me with Fatima Gatela, The Informatics Nurse. Now I am in a cohort dedicated to expanding my knowledge in the Informatics field and completely engaged in my career renewal journey! Thank you CYDC!

I’m so thankful to have come across Kelsey’s Instagram so early in my nursing career. I was working in a PCICU and was burnt out in a year due to a toxic unit culture, short staffing, and being a new grad; all with very little support (and even mockery) from management. Kelsey encouraged me to take the leap and join float pool and it’s exactly what I needed! I floated between 2 other (healthier environment) PICUs, less often to the PCICU I came from, expanded my résumé by learning so much more, AND made $6 more/hour! After a year of that, I moved out of state and decided to do something I was uncomfortable with once again, and work in procedural sedation with 4x10 shifts, no weekend, and no holiday shifts. I then decided to go PRN with this (because bye golden handcuffs), take a local travel contract for 3-4x the pay I was making, and am now soaking in all the valuable info CYDC and Kelsey are providing to help me start my own business/side hustle! Coworkers have said “I wish I was like you and took chances to search for a healthy work environment and to experience different specialities that I may like more” Truth is, I never would have had the confidence to leave if it weren’t for Kelsey and her mentorship. She’s truly like a big sis that cheers you on, shares her wealth of knowledge/experiences, and helps you to see your worth/value not only as a nurse, but as a person! -Nicole, Raleigh, NC

Hey my name is Nicole and I have been a member of CYDC since last summer and it was the best decision I made. The community is amazing. It it full of like minded nurses who want more out of their careers. My focus is entrepreneurship and I have gotten so much feedback and coaching that has made me able to get started. Getting started on my "new nurse ICU mentorship" side hustle was the hard part. The content, the videos, the weekly coaching calls. My favorite was the Instagram workshop! Without this membership and community I would not be where I am. CYDC and Kelsey has motivated and uplifted me and I am so grateful. If you want more out of your profession or want to use your license to find your passion, sign up for CYDC.

Less than a year ago I signed up for the Craft Your Dream Career membership and am so grateful that I did. I had been a full time Emergency Department nurse for over a decade and after enduring COVID I needed a change for myself. I had graduated with my MSN during the pandemic and was not sure of what I wanted to do. By watching the courses created I was able to finally find my ideal job and not rely on corporate benefits. Learning not just what jobs were available but how to invest and obtain health insurance independently has given me such a relief. I now look forward to going to work each day. I can't thank Kelsey enough for creating this amazing space for nurses to grow and achieve their potential.

With the help of Kelsey’s videos I felt confident enough to negotiate pay as a new grad RN. While I was not successful, I was able to leverage a sign on bonus and I learned so much through the process. I even started a portfolio so I can use it to negotiate during my yearly evaluation next year.

My name is Brittany, and I am in my last term of nursing school. Although I'm still in nursing school, I've worked in healthcare for 8+ years (ER & ICU) as a tech. I know exactly what Kelsey is talking about when it comes to burnout and knowing we deserve better. Not only did I struggle as a tech, but I watched all the nurses around me suffer just the same (if not worse). Because of this, I knew I wouldn't want to be stuck working for hospitals for the rest of my nursing career. So “Why are you studying to be a nurse then if you don’t want to work in a hospital?” as I tell everyone who asks me that question: the opportunity for nurses is endless. I found CYDC, and I knew it was exactly what I needed to continue motivating me through my nursing journey and remind myself that being a nurse means being a healthcare entrepreneur and that no hospital will ever own my education. Right before the pandemic started, when I started nursing school, I got fed up with my ER job and quit without a plan. I didn't know what to do next, but I knew anything had to be better than the stress of hospital work. That’s when I found a cushy job at a mortgage tech startup, making way more money than I could have ever imagined and with unreal perks. -unlimited pto anyone? It was a complete change from what I was used to, and I THRIVED. However, I will admit that mortgage is NOT my passion in the slightest. And with the quick change in the economy, I was recently let go in one of the multiple mass layoffs going on industry-wide. And now we've come full circle. I took a leap of faith and signed up for CYDC despite losing my job. I have been absorbing all of the content and all of the coaching that Kelsey has provided. My #1 goal has been to find a new job in the tech industry, but this time I wanted to be specific and target the healthcare tech world. Being able to get my foot in the door at a healthcare startup and then transition into a nursing role once I finish school/residency would be a dream. I’ve been applying for customer service positions at healthcare startups over the past few months with just radio silence. After joining a coaching call, Kelsey gave me some great tips on how to find recruiter emails and get in their face with my resume. Well, after personally contacting one of the recruiters, I successfully have an interview scheduled for this coming Monday! Fingers crossed I reach my goal of landing this job and can use the CYDC entrepreneur modules to focus my energy on my next goal of starting a blog/side hustle! Thanks Kelsey & everyone at CYDC! I'm so excited to be already seeing results, but honestly, just the reassurance and motivation I’ve received by being a part of this group is priceless.

I would recommend Kelsey to anyone who is a new nurse or experienced nurse trying to find their way in their career. She helped me to realize that I really love teaching and help me with different jobs that would help me get that goal. She is amazing! I feel now I am able to figure out what I really want to do now. Thanks Kelsey!

Hi! Im KC! I joined Whole Life Nurse after coming across Kelsey’s Tik Tok videos a few months back and learned about the Biotech industry and the side hustles that nurses could secure. Kelsey opened my eyes and ears to what else nursing had to offer outside of bedside nursing. After going down the rabbit hole, I learned about the endless amount of opportunities for nurses in the Biotech world. I had no idea nurse & Biotech could be used in the same sentence. I knew that I was burned out from bedside nursing, and wanted to explore different opportunities for myself, which is why I signed up for CYDC.  I’m not gonna lie, I was a little discouraged after sending 40 applications every day to different biotech companies (for months) and always receiving the “We’re sorry to inform you” emails. I’ve never received so many rejection emails due to my lack of experience. But, I remained persistent until one company finally took a chance on me. The interview process was competitive, but I finally landed the role as a Clinical Application Specialist at a medical device company. I believe Kelsey offered me the tools to make me successful with landing this role and other side hustles. Now, I have the opportunity to educate others about our medical devices, travel the nation, the pay and benefits are better, and the lack of stress is incomparable. Just to give a little bit of a context, I was a Full-Time CVICU RN and had been with the company for almost 5 years since graduating from school. And, I knew nothing else other than the bed-side. But, I needed to break away from the stress, toxic energies, and health draining atmosphere. It was taking a toll on my mental health and physical health. I decided to transition into part-time status and it helped somewhat, but I knew that I needed to find something else. So i found a job as a detox nurse, and I loved it! I was able to transition to PRN with my CVICU gig as well. But the detox company itself had financial issues, filed for bankruptcy, and laid all of us off after 3 months of being open. I still remained PRN and just picked up more hours for about at my CVICU gig—I refused to go back full-time for the time being, even if that meant not having benefits temporarily. After a month, I finally received a call from a Biotech company that I had found through CYDC and Kelsey (I remember Landry had posted the link). After 2-3 rounds of interviews, I finally received the offer letter! It’s a 9-5, salary job, weekly travel, with weeks off for holidays. This role fit my lifestyle and I actually get to fulfill my passion of teaching. The role itself entails traveling to different facilities across the nation and educating the clinical staff (i.e. nurses, informatics, leadership, techs, CRNAs, etc) on our medical devices purchased by their facility.  Being on this platform has helped me land side gigs as well to make some extra money. I have a remote PRN Nurse Research gig, in which I’ve seen around a few extra hundred dollars each month. I’ve also recently landed a remote PRN NCLEX Tutor job, which will provide me with extra income as well. They both offer me the flexibility and ability to make extra money EASILY.  I wrote this post for motivation, to share my gratitude for CYDC helping me find this job, and a reminder that the grass CAN be greener on the other side!

Hi everyone! Just want to share being excited about a new opportunity. I actually do not want a work from home/remote job. I just feel it’s not for me. I work critical care internal float pool in my local hospital system, but like so many others, am burning out. I’ve joined this community to find some guidance. I have applied to a bunch of prn jobs (IV infusion, scribe for insurance medical exams, etc). For different reasons, many jobs did not work out (I didn’t hear back, a clinical research job moved the research site, didn’t get an offer, got hired but there wasn’t much work…). I kept trying, wanting to figure out how to diversify a bit. This week I accepted an offer for prn home infusion therapy. The listed rate was $38/hr, which I planned to try negotiating, but after my interview, I was offered $48/hr based on my experience - paid the same rate for drive time and patient care time, plus mileage. They did list wanting infusion certifications I did not have - I told them up front when interviewed I did not have those and they did not care. I schedule directly with the patients I accept - no assigned patients, so it is very flexible. We will see how it works out, but I wanted to share and encourage people to keep trying. I just applied on the company website (initially saw it on Indeed) - followed up like CYDC tells us, and 48 hours later already was interviewed twice and had an offer for $10/hr more than the listed rate.

Hello, I have been a nurse for 14 years. Last year I finished my APRN FNP degree and found myself a little lost. I didn’t want to do direct patient care anymore but still wanted to help patients. I worked with insurance companies in the past, but what I really wanted to do was to find a job in the pharmacy/biotech setting. After I joined CYDC I was able to revamp my resume and use the list of companies provided. I kept applying as early as possible. The group kept me on the loop of the latest positions available until I was finally hired.. my dream job!! Thank you

I found WholeLifeNurse while searching for more in my career, unsure of what that truly meant. Kelsey’s community, along with her personal support and guidance, has been instrumental in helping me take control of my nursing career. Thanks to her mentorship, I’ve gone from relying on one income source to multiple streams. Every call, resource, and tool she provides has been incredibly helpful in my journey to success.

I joined CYDC a little over a year ago, thinking I'll just join for a month and check out the side hustle trainings. 1 month turned into 4 and before I knew it, I had finally figured out what I wanted to do and was actually starting a side hustle! I had tried to piece together information from multiple resources myself (blogs, freebies, YouTube) but was overwhelmed trying to figure out how to break it down to get started & where to focus my efforts first.

Having everything I needed to get started in ONE place, start to finish, all laid out step-by-step, PLUS coaching & support from Kelsey, seemed like a no brainer to go all in on the lifetime membership option. I know it would have taken me three times as long to get everything setup and going had I continued to try and do it all on my own. There is soooo much value in CYDC, not just career and entrepreneur resources, but community and support! So many times, I wondered if I should just throw in the towel, but I could hear Kelsey in my head saying, "just keep going and be persistent and you WILL see results." She was always so encouraging and full of ideas to help me figure out the details along the way but not let the small things hold me back from just getting started. Whether you're looking for alternative nursing career resources, entrepreneur guidance, or a mixture of both, you will not find another membership that offers ALLL of this in one place at this price!
