From Prague to Edinburgh, WiFi Tribe has given me something I didn't know I was missing: a sense of belonging that doesn't require staying in one place. We're living through a loneliness epidemic. Third spaces are disappearing. Coffee shops you can linger in, community organizations, public squares. Remote work has untethered us from the office, but it's also untethered us from each other. This is a generational problem. What makes WiFi Tribe so special is that it's a non-place-based worldwide community. It's taught me something about the balance between boundaries and obligations, between deep connections and fleeting fun. I've found both here. The friend you stay up late with solving the world's problems, and the stranger who becomes a travel companion for a week and leaves you better for it. Some people think the nomad lifestyle is lonely. I've found the opposite. WiFi Tribe feels like we've hacked the best of both worlds: freedom without isolation, adventure without rootlessness. I'm grateful for this community.

It's been over 8 years since I clicked "Apply" to what seemed somehow a sort of fun way to travel with people. But I got SO MUCH MORE: a rock-solid community and friends who will inspire you to live your best life while exploring the world. It that can be a weekend trip hopping french town, ATV adventures in Costa Rica, or looking for the perfect Tiramisu somewhere around Cape town. As chapters passed by, the Tribe went beyond just 4 weeks in a new city and fun anecdotes, to deep and meaningful connections with friends....and "Home" became a group chat, a shared meal, and friends waiting for you in a new timezone. I've seen many tribers go through all sort of life events: new jobs, layoffs, launching businesses, engagements, breakups, grieving losses, first time travels... and I truly believe that whatever life throws at you, you’ll find people here who show up: for the celebrations and the messy middle. WiFi Tribe isn’t just travel: It’s community, on purpose.

I first joined Wifi Tribe because I wanted to give full-time traveling a try and I didn’t want to do it alone. My goal was to travel/remote work for four months and then come back to the USA… but now here I am over three years later, still traveling the world with the friends I met in Wifi Tribe. I can’t imagine life any other way! I was expecting to see some beautiful places and have exciting experiences - but what I actually ended up with are the best friends I’ve ever had in my life, which so outweighs every other travel experience I’ve had (even though the places we’ve gone together have definitely been amazing!). Imagine getting to choose the people you do life with out of the entire world population instead of only the people in your geographical location - people who have chosen to live life in the same way that you do. That’s Wifi Tribe!

WiFi Tribe has been such a game-changer in how I experience travel. I’ve always loved solo travel, but being able to share moments — from desert nights in Dahab to gorilla trekking in Rwanda to screaming Linkin Park in Riyadh — with a community of curious, open-minded people adds a whole new depth. Through the Tribe, I’ve been able to see some truly incredible places around the world, and experience them more deeply because we’re sharing the travel planning load and filling the “mundane” things like coworking or walks through the park with laughter, thoughtful insight, and connection. What stands out most is how supportive the Tribe is: people push themselves out of their comfort zones, celebrate each other’s wins, and rally together in tough moments. It’s rare to find a group where you can both stay serious about work and dive into unforgettable adventures, but WiFi Tribe makes that balance possible.

I always meet people when I travel, but I make friends in WiFi Tribe. Since my first chapter in 2021, I've done about 3 chapters per year. Each has its own uniqueness. From the people, to the place, to the weather and accommodations. But the one consistent thing about each trip is an amazing group of people who truly understand what "community" means. People who are genuinely curious and nurture deep connections with the people around them. WiFi Tribe has a disproportionate amount of ENFJ's ("The Protaganist"). It's no coincidence. If you feel like you are the main character in a movie and you are ready for the plot to thicken, then it may be time to join WiFi Tribe and link up with some other main characters.

WiFi Tribe puts so much thought and heart into finding the most incredible people. And it makes ALL the difference to the chapter experience. There’s this openness and positivity that you just can’t find out in the real world. With Wifi Tribe’s selection process working its magic, suddenly you’re surrounded by people who are curious, compassionate, motivated for their work, and always ready for adventure. Everyone truly shows up to make each chapter epic. The most amazing part is that people keep coming back. On each chapter I’ve done, (31 and counting), there were awesome new people to meet, and also deepened connections with those I’d travelled with before. Nothing cements a friendship like crossing paths on chapter after chapter, sharing deeper conversations, and having adventures all over the world. Wifi Tribe has become a core part of my life. The work and travel life is awesome, but what is truly special is the people and the community. I’ve made so many incredible friends who I’ll keep for life, and I have adventures on tap with a huge network of awesome peeps around the world. I feel so so lucky to have found Wifi Tribe!

I have SO much to say about WiFi Tribe and how positively it has impacted my life that honestly, I could probably talk for three hours non stop about this. I joined WiFi Tribe in 2017 and travelled with the group in 2018. Since my first chapter, I've met several other Tribers over the years, have honestly become life long friends. These aren't surface-level connections or people I contact only when I travel. These are deep friendships that are extremely meaningful; bonds that will stay with me forever. One thing I didn't expect when joining WiFi Tribe was how much it'd impact my work and career. I've freelanced since 2015 and when I started, I was a bit narrow with how I approached things—working solo, not really having clear boundaries with clients, working around the clock, and certainly not charging enough. During my first chapter in 2018, I was surrounded by other freelancers and entrepreneurs, and simply seeing how other people ran their businesses was extremely expansive for me. Being able to spend time in the same space as others who were at more advanced points of their business helped me create shifts in my own. Another aspect of WiFi Tribe that isn't really shared too much is the community's Slack. There are countless channels for different trips, interests etc., but the channels that are focused on business and work are really amazing. There are spaces where people seek and post opportunities for employment, as well as a channel dedicated to business building and entrepreneurship. Within these spaces, there is SO much high quality information shared and exchanged, from talks to resources and more. I've often sought advice within this channel for difficult work or client situations that I've needed help with. Finally, from a networking perspective, I've received so many referrals for my business through the Tribe alone. This, plus my existing client network means that, for almost 10 years, I've run solely on WOM and have never pursued any formal marketing for the work that I do. I am a part of two other creative business owner/freelancer groups, both operating on Slack, and both of which are paid. One of these groups has a higher price point than the WiFi Tribe annual membership cost. Neither of these other groups has brought me as much of a return as WiFi Tribe has. I can honestly say that the WT Slack and its business-specialised channels have brought more information, impact and leads than the other online networks I'm a part of. When I joined WiFi Tribe, I didn't really think about what it would or could bring me in the long run. I sort of just said yes to a random travel experience because I wanted to see a particular city and wasn't comfortable solo travelling to that destination alone. I also felt a bit disconnected from my friend group back home, who all seemed happy to do the same thing on repeat, and who weren't driven to see the world. I wanted to experience what it would be like to be surrounded by people who were doing life differently. I really didn't expect that eight years later, I'd find myself in so many true, deep and authentic friendships. And I also don't know if my business would be where it is today, almost 10 years old, without the expansion I experienced back on my first chapter, and the later support I'd get from the online community to this date.

I honestly didn't think a digital nomad community would change my life, but here we are. Ten months ago, I joined WiFi Tribe, not really knowing what to expect. Maybe some co-working sessions and a few travel buddies - but what I got was so much more than that. Three chapters and 1 festival later, I can honestly say this community has fundamentally shifted how I think about connection, work, and what's possible when you're living this lifestyle. It's not just the places we've been - though those have been incredible. It's the people who have shown up, the conversations that happen at 2 am in random cities, the way someone will offer help even if you're still getting to know them, or how a casual coffee chat turns into a friendship that will last longer than you were expecting. I used to think being a digital nomad meant being independent - almost to the point of isolation. WiFi Tribe taught me it can mean being independent while still being deeply connected to people who get it. The festival especially showed me what happens when you combine good people with intentional community building, watching strangers become genuine friends over a few days because of something we all built together? That's not something you forget. So to anyone who's been on the fence about joining a nomad community, or if you're feeling disconnected while traveling - this one is worth it. Not because it's perfect, but because it might just be what you need.

It's hard to not overstate the effect that Wifitribe had on my life since I first joined a chapter in 2018. Today, I cannot name many travel friends that I did NOT meet through WT or through other tribers. During a chapter you're not only gonna do a ton of fun stuff with like-minded people, you're also making so many connections in this community.

I owe so much to WifiTribe! I’ve been travelling and working remotely for five years now, and so many of the friends I travel with throughout the year I met through Wifitribe, whether from a chapter or through friends in the community. On chapters, I can’t count how many memorable bucket-list trips and strong connections I’ve built. For those wanting to build community while working and travelling the world, I couldn’t recommend WifiTribe enough. I can’t imagine not being part of this community.

The best thing has been creating actual friendships and connections that last beyond surface level interactions. It can be hard sometimes as an adult to find true friendships that share values, but in WifiTribe, the people are built to help support those values. The people within the Tribe are always so caring and thoughtful; whether you're going through a major life change, career uncertainty, or even just deciding on where to go for dinner, folks will be there to amp you up in the best way possible! It's also great to be able to have conversations with people from all over the world, and gain insights and views that otherwise might have been more difficult to gain. If you're thinking about joining, I would say that the possibility to make such powerful connections and open your eyes to the world far outweigh any other possibilities :)

I joined WiFi Tribe in 2019 and since then have joined 6 different chapters as well as many shorter trips and hub hang outs with Tribe members. Joining this community was truly life-changing for me, never thought I would have the opportunity to not only travel and work in so many amazing places but be connected to a network of people who are so like-minded as myself. Through the chapters, I've had the opportunity to try new things as well as make lifelong travel friends but the community is much more than the trips. The Slack group and local hubs have provided a ton of added benefits I never expected like finding a personal trainer, a nutritionist, entrepreneurs to bounce business ideas off of, fellow scuba divers, and a network can turn to for advice and travel inspo. It's made it much easier to integrate chapter life and values into my day to day as someone who doesn't nomad full time.

The best part has definitely been the people. WiFi Tribe attracts such a diverse, kind, and curious group of humans — it's been amazing to live, work, and grow alongside them. Whether it's coworking side-by-side, going on weekend adventures, or just sharing life stories over dinner, the sense of community is something truly special. I was surprised by how quickly real friendships form. It’s not just about networking or traveling together — it’s about building connections that last beyond the chapter. What’s really stuck with me is how supported I’ve felt, both personally and professionally. It’s empowering to be surrounded by people who are all navigating remote work in their own unique way. What would you tell someone who’s thinking about joining? Do it! If you’re craving connection, adventure, and a structure that allows you to be productive while seeing the world, this is for you. It’s not just travel or coworking — it’s an intentional community of people who get it. You don’t have to have it all figured out to join — just show up with an open mind and a willingness to engage.

In a world full of travel experiences and remote work options, WiFi Tribe sets itself apart by focusing on one main thing above all else - community. In my 5+ years of traveling the globe with WiFi Tribe, I've experienced firsthand the magic of when a group of friends and strangers with a shared love of life and adventure meet up for a month to create memories that last a lifetime. WiFi Tribe's ability to catch lightning in a bottle over and over again in this way stems from its long-standing emphasis on building and cultivating a community of diverse, but like-minded group of nomads with intention, and this has been a part of the group's DNA from the beginning. So what can you expect when you join a tribe of incredible people somewhere in the world for a month? Genuine, authentic, and spontaneous adventure; caring, humble, and incredible new friends; and the realization that a community is no longer constrained to one physical location.

Wifitribe has given me the perfect home & community to combine all of these. In 2 years with Wifitribe I've traveled 4 continents on 6 trips and met friends for life!

Honestly, WiFi Tribe is the absolute move. Since joining in 2024, I’ve done three chapters plus several off-chapter experiences including a recent two week stay in Wanaka, New Zealand with 11 other Tribers. And I’m already looking at where to meet up next. If you’re burnt out on traveling solo or wanting to try out the digital nomad thing and don’t know where to start or just looking to connect with cool likeminded people, this is your sign. The logistics are solid, but let’s be real: you’re here for the people. The community is genuinely top-tier—I’ve met so many incredible humans who make exploring a place 10x more fun. And looking back on my 6+ years as a nomad, my best memories are the best because of the people that I shared them with. So just do it, come join us, you won’t regret it!!

I have been a full-time nomad for the past 3 years, and it's only because the WiFi Tribe is a community full of ambitious, well-traveled, caring people that make the lifestyle a joy. Life and travel is much more than just seeing different locations and beautiful places, it's about experiencing it and growing with other beautiful people, and that's what you find in the tribe.
