Wildya offered eight focused weeks to pressure-test my pitch alongside a group of committed founders working across nature and impact. The structure, the content, the deadlines and the honest feedback from Oliver, Michelle and the cohort sharpened how I describe what I'm working on, and led to my first live pitch to an external audience. I particularly valued the openness, passion and authenticity that Oliver and Michelle brought to the whole experience. Inspired by it, I initiated a fundraising campaign within my own network, securing two scholarships so aspiring entrepreneurs who otherwise couldn't afford to take part could join. A wonderful space to think, build and be challenged. Go, Wildya!

Couldn't ask for a better sparring for my founding phase. Oli and the team truly excel in giving sharp, fast, constructive and highly tailored advice that is truly relevant for my individual business case. One of the greatest strength is to think beyond the impact bubble with a clear business and financial understanding and mindset - crucial for us addressing Corporates. If you've been impressed by Olis LinkedIn nature content, just imagine that this just the tip of the iceberg: there are so many ideas, resources, commitment, guiding questions and fun "below water" too.

It is a pleasure to recommend Oliver Dauert, a visionary eco-preneur whose work stands at the intersection of biodiversity protection, social innovation, and community empowerment. Oliver is one of those rare individuals who combines deep ecological knowledge with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to bring about real-world change. Whether he's restoring habitats, supporting regenerative land use models, or mobilizing communities around local conservation efforts, Oliver brings a sense of purpose, creativity, and perseverance to everything he does. His projects don't just aim to preserve nature—they actively regenerate ecosystems while building bridges between people. Oliver understands that real impact emerges when environmental solutions are rooted in local culture and driven by the people who live closest to the land. He’s a natural collaborator, bringing together farmers, activists, researchers, and entrepreneurs with a shared mission to protect biodiversity and build resilient futures. Above all, Oliver leads by example. His integrity, humility, and hands-on approach have inspired many—including myself. I’m confident that any initiative he is part of will benefit not only from his expertise, but from the care, energy, and vision he brings to every challenge. If you're looking for someone to drive ecological entrepreneurship while weaving together nature and community, Oliver Dauert is an outstanding choice.

The sad thing about our algorithm-driven attention economy is that content like this can be forgotten by tomorrow, while the feed patiently rewards whatever keeps us twitching. Oliver’s words deserve to be heard. He is one of those people who does not use purpose as a LinkedIn buzzword for professional vitality, but as an operating brief. Not: how do I look meaningful? But: what do I need to build so impact can actually scale? I am still not sure whether I love the term “Impact Millionaire.” But I do love the meaning and ambition behind it. It flips the logic without throwing business away as a tool. Less startup unicorn fetish. More bison, peatlands and corals. Someone from the Valley once said: “The best minds of my generation are thinking about how to make people click ads. That sucks.” Maybe this is exactly the reversal we need: the smartest people on this planet should not be spending their best years making humans stare at ads for longer, optimizing social media loops, or teaching machines how to squeeze another micro-dose of attention out of a tired nervous system. They should be working on making life larger again. On building things that return people to the real world: soil, water, wood, species, landscapes, communities, actual work, actual places. Engagement with the living world, not another AI-driven circus of synthetic urgency. Give Oliver’s post a read before the algorithm decides we all needed another leadership carousel about courage, clarity and the transformative power of getting up at 5 am and drinking water.

Loved the talk, Oliver Dauert! Very inspiring and great delivery 💯 💚 I would argue that the greatest obstacle to unlocking more impact millionaires is translating nature benefits into financial benefits. That way we can go beyond donations to investments at scale. An interesting example is the soil-to-value modelling of Klim, where they translate improved soil conditions to corporate value to make regenerative agriculture a business investment with a clear financial ROI. I am not sure how solid their modelling is but the narrative seems promising. Thanks so much for continuing to inspire us, Oli. Keep up the good work!

I was very curious about the Bootcamp for young entrepreneurs and decided to do it ! .. I learnt a lot about entrepreneurship and got the chance to meet fantastic people with the same challenges and same motivation to succeed !. I added a few hours in 1to1 with Michelle to help me on my own difficulties. A few months after the bootcamp, my company was created and CAOYA chocolate was born ! @Michelle and Oli : thanks again

The content is gathered and presented in such a thoughtful way, and most importantly they are always looking to improve things and make changes to ensure members have the best chance of achieving what they want to achieve.

Wildya is the online home I aspire to have—a community where I feel a sense of belonging and connection. From my very first coffee chat with Oliver six months ago, I knew I wanted to be part of this incredible group. That initial spark has only grown stronger as I’ve continued to engage with the community. What makes Wildya special is its welcoming and diverse community. It brings together people from all walks of life, united by a shared love for nature and a desire to support it. Whether it’s through personal actions, community-led projects, or professional endeavors, there’s a sense of shared purpose that’s deeply inspiring. One of the best aspects of Wildya is how community-driven it is. The Wildya team works tirelessly to shape the space around our needs, constantly iterating based on feedback. It’s empowering to feel like an active participant in a journey we’re all on together. What I get from Wildya evolves month to month, depending on what I need at the time. Right now, it’s a space where I can share my thoughts openly, be seen, commit to actions, and get accountability. It’s also where I learn about new projects, ideas, and people, and where I can join interactive workshops and discussions —like the 2025 Nature Bingo Workshop I’m attending next week to plan my actions for nature in the coming year. Wildya+ has been a fantastic addition too. With the subscription, I’ve gained access to amazing courses, events, and masterclasses. Over the past few months, I’ve had the chance to listen to and interact with inspiring people, like Ollie Potter discussing opportunities in Nature Technology, Sathya Raghu V Mokkapati sharing his ambitious project Soul Forest, Gilles Toussaint sharing his expertise in growth marketing, and Manuela Risch leading a workshop on non-human personas. These are just a few highlights—there have been so many other incredible sessions, and having access to the recordings makes it even better. If you’re looking for a community of nature doers—a place where you can connect, learn, and take meaningful action—I can’t recommend Wildya enough.

Thank you Oliver Dauert and Michelle Egly for this incredible opportunity. Work like this is not just growing the project; it's more growing the individu and thank you for giving me this possibility to just "grow". Yet, my project is challenging and probably will need some refinement. But I was always thinking, why ex-situ conservation cannot be done by broader community? Why are we talking about biocultural heritage conservation without really sharing it? and this is where I want to act.

This guy is just a gem! 🌎 Oliver Dauert and I first crossed paths back in 2015 in Biarritz, over 11 years ago now. His unwavering commitment to nature, and his drive to build a better future for our planet, people, and animals, is something truly remarkable to witness. If you have a project that aligns with this vision, I couldn't recommend reaching out to him more. He's exactly the kind of person you want to have in your corner from day one. 🌿

Seven months ago I had an idea, a coastline, and very little else. No investors, no revenue, no roadmap. Just a deep conviction that the women who have always lived with the sea deserved to be paid professionals, not volunteers, in the conservation of the ocean they depend on. I am a single mother on an average Portuguese salary. I have not quit my job yet. I build Maré Verde in the margins of my life. Early mornings, late evenings, weekends on the rocky shore. Oliver, I later learned, was raised by a solo mum. I don't think that's a coincidence. People who grew up watching someone build everything from nothing tend to know, in their bones, that it's possible. Oliver's newsletter was, for a long time, my only companion on this road. Not because it gave me a formula. But because it kept reminding me that building something real, for nature, with integrity, is possible. That the hard parts are normal. That pivoting is not failure. Right now I use Claude for design and building pages fast and Lovable to build and launch my landing page in days. These came directly from the Wildya tech stack. The rest, Kit, Notion, Stripe, Infomaniak are queued and ready for when the business needs them. I am not using tools I don't need yet. But I know exactly which ones I will reach for, and why. Our call this week was 30 minutes that clarified months of thinking. Oliver asked me the question I had been avoiding: how many tourists do I actually need? Not as a rhetorical exercise, as a number, with a plan behind it. If you are building something for nature, and you feel alone on the road. You are not. Oliver built a community for exactly that feeling. I am grateful to be part of it.

I absolutely love this and agree with the fact that nature positive thinking is sometimes undervalued, and I think that's because it’s difficult and layered. I just had the chance to go through it in detail and I really liked that your questions don’t only focus on the present, but also on the future of the business, which gives this a much bigger scope + it pushes you to think on a personal level, how and if, you or the people you work with adapt these ideologies and mindsets in their day-to-day. I personally aspire to be a social entrepreneur, and will def use your model in the process. Thank you again, Oliver! You're very inspiring, and I hope you keep doing the impactful and amazing work!

Wildya has completely transformed how I connect with nature. It’s more than just a platform—it’s a vibrant community with events and insights that make conservation feel personal and impactful. Wildya has helped me connect more deeply with nature and feel part of something meaningful. The tools and resources make it easy to contribute, and the community is welcoming and genuine. It’s become a place where I can make a small, real difference for wildlife and connect with like-minded community members from all over the world.

I've never had anywhere I could connect with other nature lovers before. So, Wildya feels really special. It's more than 'just' a brilliant platform for people who are passionate about biodiversity; it's a vibrant community (or ecosystem, if you will) of like minds and fresh perspectives. I'm also really looking forward to exploring the educational materials – and learning more about how to build a wilder world. Well done, Wildya Team!

I found it online looking for connection with people who believe as I do in the preciousness of the planet. I found a wonderful community and a great networking opportunity with people all over the world. Everybody is kind, supportive, and encouraging, sharing each other's successes as well as burdens and anxieties. Most importantly, Wildya is giving me hope. I'm realizing there are a lot of people out there who want to create a better world, and that motivates me to do my part every day. It feels good knowing there are people cheering for me, and I'm cheering for them, with each other's backs when things get hard.

I came to know Wildya last year after our organization, This is My Earth (TiME) faced a challenge of trying to make a big leap in our activities. TiME, a democratic and egalitarian international organization, uses crowdfunding to purchase and protect biodiversity hotspots around the world, using 100% of donations for the cause. We had Wildya study carefully the operations of TiME, the good and more challenging parts. Oliver was very professional and managed to put a very reliable mirror for us and let us understand where we should improve and how. Eventually, even though TiME did not receive the fund that was suppose to enable us to make this leap, we received many important recommendations that will continue to assist us improve our efficiency and expand our activities.

Oliver supported me with my social media positioning, content strategy, and content planning. Basically all the things you actually need to build visibility on LinkedIn without guessing. He definitely knows his way around social media and marketing. What I really appreciated is how practical and personal his support was. Nothing generic. Everything tailored to where I was and what I wanted to achieve. On top of that, Oliver is simply a great human to work with. The collaboration feels easy, honest, and thoughtful. You can tell he genuinely cares and that makes a huge difference. I’m truly grateful for everything he shared and taught me. Thanks to him, I feel much clearer and more confident about claiming my space on LinkedIn.

We had the pleasure of Oliver Dauert's LinkedIn workshop at a team offside in 2025. Oli gave a brillant presentation on the basis of his impressive achievements with Wildya. Rarely have I come away from a keynote with such a clear understanding of how to make easy improvements. The entire team was buzzing, really. So I can't recommend Oli and Wildya enough. Most worthy cause to support as well.

Quick shoutout to Wildya and founders Michelle Egly and Oliver Dauert! Found them through grad school friend Christian von Loewenich (WWF Berlin). After I joined the platform, Michelle introduced herself and offered to chat. We've been in touch since - she's helping me network and navigate the conservation tech ecosystem. The community is full of ecopreneurs building in biodiversity restoration, climate adaptation, regenerative agriculture, and ecological tech. The masterclasses feature experienced founders who've shipped products and raised funding. Wildya is where nature-minded builders find clarity, reconnect with purpose, and move forward without doing it alone. Also: Every Premium Membership funds nature restoration. Each month, 15% of each subscription protects 1m² of biodiversity. If you're building in this space, try the free trial: wildya.io

Michelle Egly & Oliver Dauert, this bootcamp is precious! Really helps me boost my nature project and get to next level! I was telling my sister how nice it is to not have to think "what do I do next..." just follow the Ecopreneur OS tasks! The bootcamp is rich and very well structured, which makes me work efficiently on my project, and having the possibility to bounce back ideas with you 2 and the other participants makes it is worth every penny I invested! A few days ago, Oliver Dauert hosted a session on Wildya with Gerjet Efken, who discussed its Regenerative Cacao project at Finca Encanto. As often with this kind of projects, the project is maximizing biodiversity benefits and creating local jobs, taking the best out of the ecological and social impact textbook. The missing bit ? Economics. And that's where enter the carbon credits, seen as a potential additional stream of revenues for the farm. My take is that you have to be highly creative if you want to use those credits for a small, high-impact project. The methodologies around soil carbon were not designed for small scale, and the dynamic complexity of soil organic carbon makes it almost impossible to have something serious without expensive on-site measurements. That being said, other options include insetting projects, funded by the buyers of cacao, with more high-level measurement that serve the buyers, or the inclusion of small-scale artisanal biochar project that can benefit farmers while being methodologically and operationally easier to deploy. It has been little over a month since I joined Wildya and what a fantastic community I've found! Born of the wild imagination and persistent work of Oliver Dauert, the platform offers a place for ecopreneurs who have already started (or are set to start) a business that specifically benefits biodiversity and nature in general. The one thing I always look forward to is Wildya's weekly online conversation with ecopreneurs who are making a difference today: 💚 learning about carbon-capture and PFAS cleanup with Elena Doms, 💚 discussing the challenge of replacing traditional building materials with mycelium together with Andy Cartier, 💚 marvelling at the grassroots work done by Mayank Mardia to rewild NYC, are some of my most cherished ones. To everyone who wants to invest more time in building with and for nature: this is the place to be. The moment I got in touch with Oliver, I knew I was in the right hands. We had been looking for a long time how to continue Ubuntu Magazine's journey, and thanks to his message on LinkedIn, we got in touch. During the hours of talking - with plenty of research beforehand by Oliver - I got to take a deeper look at our organization. Some details that he mentioned, had not been clear to ourselves from within the business. So, having his outside-opinion was already worth my time. Although we are currently still in the process of finalizing our business decisions, Olivers' consultancy has been the final step and insight I needed to build and shape Ubuntu Magazine into a financially sustainable organization. The best thing about the three hours that I got to talk to Oliver, was the fact that I could listen - and we could talk - without taking notes. The way Oliver has written down all his insights and notes in Notion has been a total gamechanger for me - and I've had a fair share of consultancy before. Oliver is an honest and smart guy who I would recommend to anyone in conservation and/or nature business.

Oliver helped us narrow down our ideas and the direction we wanted to go by offering valuable insights and business knowledge. He also gave us a good groundwork for next steps. We now have a clear product idea and a path forward. Oliver is supportive, knowledgeable, and clearly wants to help you succeed. Today I want to share two great examples of responsible businesses. Both want to save the #biodiversity of our planet. And both are helping companies to train their employees and to be more #conscious. Wildya is a French startup created by Oliver Dauert The Bioasis is based in UK. On a secret location ;) and is managed by Adrian Ferraro The approach of Wildya is to educate the society and companies through webinars and a product that they have just launched - "Chat with nature" cards. 50 cards with biodiversity topics on them to play with the teams in every company. I personally tested it in the office - people are very much willing to go through the cards and to learn more how to protect our planet. Wildya are currently building an online eco system of like minded top executives, employees and everyone who is interested. On the other side, The Bioasis is organizing mini retreats for teams and executives. All that is hosted on a secret location in the UK. A property waster than all you can ever imagine. It has meadows, rivers, lakes and forests. Just coming from a fairytale. And that is where the magic happens. Teams are immersed in this nature and learn how to protect it. Adrian Ferraro and his team want to show to company executives that businesses can pivot and become eco-responsible & profitable at the same time. Well done Oliver Dauert and Adrian Ferraro. I am happy that such companies exist. :) #Responsible #Biodiversity #CSR #Future #Green

We don't talk enough about nature. And I want to change this. So I just got myself a set of "Chat with Nature" cards by Wildya. I must admit, when it comes to changemaking, I'm a bit biased. I tend to focus mostly on climate change and social impact. And leave nature and biodiversity behind. Thanks to my friend Oliver and many others, I'm learning more about the importance of nature and biodiversity. Of course, I know they are important. But my level of awareness is very limited. I don't know the names of many plants. I don't know much about how many species are out there. I don't know much about ecosystems and the role they play. Now with these cards, I'll be able to: - Invite neighbours over for dinner and chat about nature. - Bring them to my family's and friends' and play with nature. - Have interesting conversations with my girlfriend in the evenings. This will help me bring nature top of mind. It will engage my mind in thinking more holistically. It will help me reconnect with nature in a lot of new ways. Most importantly, it will be fun! Because we all want to live a good life and have fun. I'll drop the link in the comments in case you want to get your own set of cards too. Thanks Oliver and the team for creating this inclusive game. I can't wait to start having more chats with nature! P.S. How often do you talk about nature?

Imagine chatting easily about nature with your friends or colleagues... Well, that's possible now 👇 Sometimes I feel isolated with friends and people who don't understand - why nature is important for all of us, - the catastrophic state of nature now, - how cool and beautiful nature is (and how much I love it 😍) That's why I bought these "Chat With Nature" cards. They are magnificent (my kids just love looking at the pictures). They have questions like: - What is the most unusual animal you have seen in the wild? - What does your local nature mean to you? - Do you view time in nature as a non-negotiable in your calendar? which are fun and useful to kickstart the conversation for example: - with your friends at a dinner - with your colleagues during lunch time They are made by Oliver Dauert from Wildya. 👇 You can buy them with the link in the first comment. Oliver also launched a free assessment to determine how much your business takes into account biodiversity (and actions based on your results). Link in comments too. Do you often talk about nature with your colleagues or friends?

I love Wildya because I know that I will meet people there with the same interests and love of nature. I immediately feel in my element. We understand each other directly, even without many words. It's super exciting because everyone comes from so many different countries and there are so many individual life stories to discover and yet we all have the same thing at heart: nature and its beauty! It's super inspiring to see the different ways everyone has found to express themselves in, with and through nature. Thanks to Wildya, I have many new ideas that I can implement in my daily life to create a wilder world. But Wildya brings me so much more. Because I also find great support for my NatureTech StartUp there, the advice and expertise in the community and especially that of Oliver are worth their weight in gold. But what Wildya brings me above all, in addition to great people, lots of inspiration and professional tips, is that I find an antidote to my eco-anxiety here. Through Wildya I reconnect to my optimism again and can stand up to the cognitive biais because I feel seen, understood and not alone. Thank you Oli for this incredible format, the energy, the passion and the work you put in for us and for a wilder world.

'Do we want to act now for nature (with inspiration and excitement) or react (when biodiversity legislation comes)'!? This is one of the questions that Oliver Dauert asked yesterday during his 'Bringing biodiversity into your business' webinar. After talking about the immense benefits of actioning a nature-positive business, from reducing risk to improving mental health, Oliver went on to explain something that has equally excited me about moving beyond climate to biodiversity... Talking about nature isn't the same as climate. Climate often seems intangible, it certainly isn't inspiring and the science behind it definitely doesn't excite (most) people. Nature, however, is something we are all part of and connected to, it's beautiful, surprising, precious, and given the chance (most people) love it and want to protect it. Using Wildya (Oliver's brilliant community) and other trainings, podcasts and books I have been trying to upskill in nature to help businesses get hands-on with exciting projects - and it's a lot of fun! >>> Join Wildya - a nature-driven community (I believe that's all of us deep down) and follow Oliver Dauert for inspiration and learn his 10 step hacks to bringing biodiversity in! #nowfornature #biodiversitystrategy #naturepositive

Wildya moved from a place where I could find people that had similar anxiety to a place full of energy and hope for the future! Transcending the distances, the community helps you find your people and build in a positive atmosphere where we are all both highly critical of the current situation and hopeful that we can do better. The courses provided by Oliver are authentic and powerful, delivered from the heart with messages that stick to you, definitely something worth checking out.
