I joined Win at Work in June and I’m now a CRM Project Manager at a college in Miami, Florida. What made the biggest difference for me was how all the parts of the program worked together - the Network Bomb, Power Hours, Co-working Sessions, and Job Coaching. As a former intern coordinator myself (and a former intern that landed a job), I can tell you that most interns today suck. Why? Because they don't follow the principals outlined in Eric's book. I wish every intern would read/study/get quizzed on the tips that Eric provides in this book. You may have an ivy league degree, but if you can't figure out a fax machine, you're pretty worthless. Ditto with not knowing what is considered 'appropriate' attire, or giving attitude when asked to file. Eric writes in a way that is easy to understand and gives real life examples on the advice that he offers. A fantastic book overall!!!

This book is a must read for those just starting out. School teaches you a lot- but it often glosses over the practicalities and details of navigating an office and making yourself useful in any situation. Eric does a GREAT job of filling in those gaps. A lot of the advice offered here will serve you well both at your first internship and throughout your career. (anticipate the needs of others, remember proper phone etiquette, keep good records of contacts for future use, and say I don't know when you don't know.) I cannot wait to pass this book on to the my colleagues who work with interns and college students. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Forty years ago, interns were usually in a hospital setting. These days, interns are in every profession. New graduates, as Mr Woodard explains, have neither skills nor experience but their internship has the potential to lead to lifelong successful positions if one follows his inspirational instructions. His communicative abilities shine through as he explains the importance of attire, writing things down, a watch,and what to do at meetings. Many scared 21yr olds will benefit from actually reading what is usually left unsaid. As graduation time approaches this spring, I will be ordering for those family and friends this valuable and inexpensive graduation gift.

It is rare you get to meet the man behind the mask. I was fortunate, however, that I did get to meet Eric Woodard. Eric's humor, fun personality and passion shine throughout the book. Your Last Day of School is an entertaining, easy to read book that is able to hold a 20-year-olds attention - not an easy feat by any means. This book is packed with practical and insightful tips for students new to the workforce. It's a great book for your career!

His wisdom is born from experience. He wields his verbal sword to cut to the heart of what is needed to acquire and succeed in an internship. If you are thinking of interning, you¹d be crazy not to read this.

I got the book this spring 2016 after attending the authors workshop at my school, George Washington University. The presentation was filled with valuable insight into the internship process and the book solidifies what is necessary to know so you are not clueless and guessing your way through what an internship experience should feel like. This is a great choice to read for any young and seasoned adult seeking to understand the professional working world.

I worked with Eric for approximately 2 months and he really helped me see my job search in a whole new manner. Who would have thought I would find a new job in less than 90 days!
