OT Elevate has been a transformative part of my occupational therapy journey. It deepened my understanding of the pelvic floor, bowel function, and the lived experiences of individuals navigating colorectal challenges. The content is evidence‑informed, clinically relevant, and presented in a way that truly supported trauma‑informed, patient‑centered practice.
This course not only strengthened my clinical reasoning, but also affirmed my passion for pursuing pelvic health as my professional path. It gave me the confidence to integrate anatomy, function, and compassionate communication in a way that feels aligned with the kind of clinician I aspire to be. I’m incredibly grateful for the knowledge, mentorship, and clarity this course has provided as I continue building my foundation in pelvic health.

Navigating through OT school, pelvic floor therapy was rarely talked about when it is incredibly important! I planned to specialize in this field but was unsure where to begin. I thought there was only one way to specialize in this field, which was to take the Herman and Wallace course. Fortunately, I discovered Lindsey Vestal through my professor and an OT. I am incredibly happy I did, I gained confidence and so much knowledge to help advance our profession in this field! I am excited to take the level 1 soon!

I chose to take OT Pioneers as a great starting point for my interest in pelvic health. I am currently retaking part of the class with all of the added updates which are amazing! I love that we get free access to the updates to the course! Lindsey does such a great job explaining everything and is so supportive in my learning journey. I would highly recommend OT Pioneers!

I decided to join this program because it’s the only one that offers specialization in pelvic health from a uniquely OT perspective. I’m fascinated with learning about all of the working parts of this small region of the body and how to make assessments more functional. My main concern prior to joining this program was how it could be more that just providing exercises and recommendations to the client. This program has helped me see how much of a collaborative effort this is between the client and the therapist, and how we can help demystify and destigmatize talking about pelvic health. To any OT considering this program, go for it! We, as OTs and holistic practitioners, are so needed in this area of practice.

After having my second son I experienced issues with urinary incontinence whenever I was jumping. I saw a pelvic floor PT and she addressed this issue rather quickly. Since then, I have kept this possible field of study in mind.
Now that my kids are older, I started looking for different programs. Many of these programs were created by and geared toward the PT practitioner, which just didn't seem to be the right fit. After searching and asking around, I was directed to Lindsey Vestal's course and I signed up within a week.
I have been practicing for over 25 years with most of my experience in pediatrics. This course has given me the knowledge and confidence to make the switch into woman's health and I couldn't be more grateful. I have been asked to join a new wellness program in an all female gym.

This course just wasn't about my own learning-it reshaped how I show up for my patients. I gained informed, practical ways to process the material and bring it directly into my visits, making care more meaningful and empowering. From this course, I feel more energized and confident as an OT while working with my patients and am so grateful to utilize practical informed strategies and tools. It is rare to find a course that impacts both as a provider and the patient experience so deeply, but the Trauma Informed Pelvic Health Certification truly does!

This course is a must for OTs entering pelvic health. I previously took a PT-focused course from H&W and left without any follow-up support or video access to review the material. With its mechanical, PT-centered approach, I often felt something was missing.
OT Pioneers has been a breath of fresh air. Its OT lens intentionally weaves in the nervous system, mental health, emotions, and the full biopsychosocial picture. It teaches a holistic approach that genuinely excites me to bring into my work with pelvic health clients.
As a birth doula and an OT training in pelvic health through OT Pioneers, I feel empowered, aligned with my roots as an OT, and equipped to better support postpartum women in a meaningful way.

Prior to signing up I was concerned this was just going to be the same as the other CEUs I have taken in the past; however, this has far exceeded my expectations! It puts everything together in one place and all through the OT lens, which is exactly what I was looking for!

This course has not only expanded my knowledge on pelvic floor beyond biological anatomy(the mind-body connection), but the evaluation of my own therapeutic responses. What I have appreciated most from this course is the tools of building a stronger rapport with clients verbally and nonverbally, the trial and error of exercises, and the ability to challenge myself in situations that are not always going to feel comfortable as I feel at times when you go out of your comfort zone, you only advance the care of your patients. So incredibly thankful for Lindsey's course, highly recommend!

I decided to join this program after taking Lindsey's free 1 hour CE course and learning how well my occupational therapy background could help me transition to the role of pelvic floor specialist. She gave me a sense of belonging and support that propelled me to imagine a path forward. Shortly after, I took her OT Pioneers course and knew for sure I had the potential to take on the certification.
I am at one step away for officially completing my level 1 functional pelvis certification and have absolutely loved the process. Lindsey has designed this course with pacing to not only learning the information in a way that I can digest it and solidify the concepts, she perfectly weaves in cohort virtual meetings with case studies and opportunities to discuss and practice the role of pelvic floor therapist. Her mentoring continues to embue the same sense of belonging and support that I felt in her CE course and propels me towards my goal as a clinician.
My main concern with joining the program was if I could go down the path of certification without getting lost in feelings of overwhelm. Lindsey's program is specifically designed to introduce information in manageable pieces with built in breaks to allow for flexibility with the other demands of life. She also kept me motivated with weekly meetings in her OTP united calls as well as cohort meetings. The 3-day hands-on clinical lab gave me a concrete goal to stay motivated and also the pay-off of meeting like-minded fellow OTs.
To anyone on the fence about pelvic health, I love that Lindsey provides many options to explore how far you want to take your clinical journey. You can start small with no monetary investment, and even if you decided to enroll in one course and then want more, she makes the transition easy with a credit toward the cost of full level 1 certification. Her teaching model low pressure, high support. By the end of this program, she now feels like my biggest cheerleader and most trusted mentor.

I am new to the pelvic health field and wanted to have a deeper understanding of how trauma relates to the pelvic floor. I am learning so many strategies and tools to use with clients. The live support calls and being part of such an amazing group have been so incredibly helpful. I was very apprehensive with taking this class since I am new to this field but I have learned so much about myself and have gained confidence to support others. I am looking forward to putting the strategies into practice. The instructors are so knowledgable and passionate about what they teach. I feel supported, engaged and so inspired. This course will really change the way you practice.

I hardly know how to express my gratitude. Thank you so much for everything—for helping me take this class and attend the lab. I had been hesitant to sign up for Level 1 for over a year because the pelvic floor field always felt so daunting. But once I finally began, the experience was completely different from what I expected.
The online portion of the class was so well organized and thoroughly prepared, which made it easy to follow and built my confidence before the lab even began.
The in-person lab was truly exceptional. The hands-on guidance, supportive environment, and clear instruction made such a difference in helping me integrate the material and feel genuinely capable in my skills. Lisa was amazing, and her TAs, Stacey and Rachel, helped everything run so smoothly. I’m so grateful to all of you. Your team has truly changed my perspective and my life.
I’ve always known that the nervous system plays a major role in pelvic floor health, but this week I felt it in such a powerful way. Now, I feel confident, inspired, and ready to dive into my work as a pelvic floor therapist.

OT Elevate is so comprehensive and ensures that you have all the tools and educational background, even if you are brand new to pelvic health! Or in my case, brand new to Occupational Therapy (I haven't even taken my exam yet). I would certainly recommend this course to anyone who has the capacity and time to treat the whole person, as pelvic health impacts so many ADLs!
