Mark helped navigate my practice in chronic pain. Understanding the role of when to use manual therapy and the importance of bioplastic language. Mark has challenged my thought process to think more critically, clinically. That we have research studies that we apply to the general public but that we are always dealing with N=1. One of the best things about Mark is that if he doesn't know? He's not blowing smoke your way. He will give you a rationale. He's knowledge is based on research and will refer to articles, books or specialized professionals. I love Mark's passion for our profession. He has definitely challenged me to take in account the importance of listening to the patient's story, the importance of the clinical setting/setup, and that it is okay to not have the answer right away. It has been a true pleasure to work with Mark and I look forward to being able to work with him in the future.

Mark champions a balanced and thoughtful approach to the dissemination, translation and transformation of contemporary knowledge in MSK Physical Therapy. He provided support in the development of ideas, thoughts and perspectives across a wide range of relevant topic areas and epitomises patient-centred approaches to care.

Mark was my mentor through his Modern Pain Care program. Mark always practiced what he preached. He had the time to listen and provide valuable feedback. This feedback brought everything I learned in school and clinic together, allowing me to provide top-notch/ compassionate care to my patients. Mark is someone I would recommend my family and friends to learn from and/ or receive care.
