This was a useful course. I discovered I already fast draft in a similar way to Jessica's method including a form of invisible revision. But although my messy drafts were full of gold, my manuscripts suffered, because I never had an organized method for recording my revision notes. Rewrites were unbearably slow and inconsistent. I worked through several novels while I took this course and found the prep work invaluable in reshaping my workflow. I love the 3-part 5-step developmental portion. Using the Fast Drafting technique, I did a (very) messy first draft of my first-ever novel. I did it for NaNoWriMo, completing just under 80k words in 26 days! I am in revision, which is usually where I get stuck. However, the bullet point idea has really helped me to move forward. Another key point for me is to let go of perfection. This course helped me to be more focused on what to do. Also I don't get worried any more to forget important issues to tackle. For my WIP this means something in between fast drafting and revising, but the next novel I'll fast draft and have fun with all the mess coming out!
