Thank you for this very well-explained course. I have the original Save the Cat book but never truly applied it to writing fiction. Jessica's presentation was easy to grasp and relatable. The course is probably the most beneficial I've taken in terms of good storytelling, structure, and fulfilling reader expectations.

I had so many ah-ha moments throughout this course when I discovered where my memoir organically hits most of the beats. Some were in places I didn’t expect (for example, realizing the scene I thought was my ‘all is lost’ moment is actually the ‘dark night of the soul’). The course also made me think long and hard about my wants vs needs as the hero which can be tricky in memoir, as well as where and how to demonstrate these in the story, which will help immeasurably in the revision process.
